The theme of this deck series is great classics of literature, either contemporary or of the past. The goal of this project is to merge a recognizable element of literature to the traditional and symbolic meaning of a specific Tarot card image. This fusion comes from the esoteric value that in the distant past was connected to heraldry, whereas the image (called “the body”) was joined to a maxim or ‘motto’ (referred to as “the soul”), forming a commemorative “coat of arms”.
The project includes 5 decks, one for each continent. This collaborative deck by 22 artists from Oceania was hosted by Fern Mercier & Lyn Olds.

Play Oasis Poker against the house. This game is similar to Caribbean Stud and is great for poker fans and those who enjoy five card stud. In this game you can replace any of your cards before calling, you can eliminate bad cards to try and improve your hand. Includes a bonus side bet option where you can win up to a $20,000 jackpot.

How to play

1] Place an ante bet between $1-$50 with an optional $1 bonus bet.

2] You and the dealer receive 5 cards, one of the dealer cards will be face up.

3] You may now optionally replace 1-5 cards. Touch the cards you do not want and then press the draw button to exchange them. Each card you exchange will cost you an amount equal to your ante. If you draw all 5 cards you must then raise.

4] You must now fold or call. If you fold you will forfeit your ante and side bet. Calling costs two times the ante amount.

5] After a call the dealers cards are revealed. You win if your hand is better than the dealer. Press "menu-show pay table" to see how much you will win. If you made a bonus bet and your hand is a flush or better then you will win a bonus payment, check the pay table to see how much you will receive.

The dealer must have a hand containing an Ace and King or better to qualify.
