This is the premier fantasy card game for Android, created in the spirit of other wildly popular trading card games such as Magic the Gathering, Dominion, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pokemon!
Fortunes of War is a uniquely fast-paced, easy to learn, and strategically challenging game offering many modes such as single player campaign, quick AI matches, ranked multiplayer games, achievements, tournaments and more!
You begin with a small deck of Fortune Cards that represent power, wealth and ability. Players take turns drawing a hand from their deck, playing their Fortune Cards, and purchasing new cards from The Card Market. You grow more powerful over the course of the battle with each Fortune Card gained. The key to victory comes in developing a strategy to build up your deck's Victory Points, while at the same time countering your opponent's strategy!
In Conquest Mode you are The Conqueror: A powerful warlord bent on world domination. Your secret weapon is the guidance of an enslaved fortune teller named Hagar, who has shown you the path to victory with his mystical visions. Follow his wisdom as you battle your way through the non-linear campaign – challenge the powerful Moon Elves, sly Humans, and vicious Orcs!

[2012-11-30] A Google User: A dominion-like game, but more fun This is an excellent Dominion-like game that I've actually enjoyed even more. The main problem with dominion is that it plays too much like solitaire because the players can't attack each other much. That's why in this version, the curses and counter-curses work very well. The official Dominion game should pick up this gameplay. |

[2012-11-30] A Google User: Fantastic If you're a lad or lass, who likes to think a little strategic while having fun, likes a little (sometimes frustrating) challenge to progress in games and their plot.. this one is for you! Great development whalesong!! But please update the full version to make it compatible with a Samsung Galaxy Ace (GT-S5830) !!! Then I'll buy it with a smile, regardless of the cost i might incur.. |

[2012-09-28] A Google User: Pretty awesome In a world of terrible Android games, this is not only fun and addictive, but does not require grinding or micro-transactions. Surprisingly good ai. Interesting card combos. Good aesthetic.Games are short, but interesting enough for a second round. I would love to see wound based strats seperated from draw/action combo strats, as one trumps the other. Or, maybe add ability to pre-decide on card choice. If you like the game, pick up quarriors, or dominion. Thanks for this great game guy! |
