Pai Gow Poker (Paigow) just like you have seen it in casinos. This game of poker works as follows: You are given 7 cards and are required to make both a 5 card hand and a 2 card hand. The 5 card hand must be a better poker hand than the 2 card hand. Once you have finished doing this your hands are compared to the dealer's hands. If both your hands beat his you win your bet. If both lose you lose your bet. Otherwise it is a push and no money is lost or won.
This game is perfect for anyone who wants to learn how to play, or as a time waster for those who already love the game.
FYI. The computer does not cheat, it is all completely random. If the computer is getting good hands it is just bad luck.

I used to used to OWN it, but now I only visit it on my old late-90's computer in my "way-back machine" (with my boy Sherman) That's how rinky-dink this thing is! But hey, maybe you like the "zero frills" aspect! As it stands, with all the progress in RAM, memory, F/X and availability of FREE apps, I'll go for the better visibility & sound F/X every time. |

[2012-09-05] A Google User: Great game, but one bug and one feature request This game plays quickly, it's free, and it's easy to play. I love it! There are only two things that stop it being 5*: 1. There's a bug in Joker handling. Example: Dealer [ 3h 4s 4c 4d 8h ] [ 9h Ah ] Player [ Ad Kh Qs Jok 10d ] [ 8s 8d ] The game gives this as a push, obviously treating the Joker as an Ace (making an Ace pair in the high hand), when it should be using it to complete the straight (Joker priority hi-lo: Flush -> Straight -> Ace), which would give the player the win. 2. I would really appreciate the option to charge the usual casino 5% commission on wins. This would both model more accurately how the game really plays in casinos, and justify the game's (bracketed) name! |
