Wufuqi is a very popular board game in China. The board is a grid of 5 horizontal lines and 5 vertical lines. 25 stones are to be placed at the intersections of the lines.
A game consists of 3 phases:
1. Placing Phase. Two players alternately place a stone on the board, one at a time. The goal of this phase is to form various shapes, which are illustrated below.
2. Removing Phase. Two players remove the stones of the opponent depending on what and how many shapes are formed during the Placing Phase. The player who starts the game removes first.
3. Moving Phase. Two players alternately move stones horizontally or vertically, one step at a time. The player who forms one or more shapes immediately removes certain number of the opponent's stones depending on the shape(s) formed. A player loses the game when he has less than 3 stones.
The application supports two skill levels for you to choose: Beginner and Advanced.
