The Tale of the Golden Ear is an adventure game where all input and output is done vocally. Listen as the game narrates a panoramic scene and sets the plot for you like an audio-book. Then, use your voice to dictate what actions you want your character to take. Explore, solve puzzles, and unravel an old mystery. You will need a keen mind, a firm voice, and a golden ear in order to achieve victory.
Don't let the simple user interface fool you. Since the majority of input and output is done vocally, this game has lots of content beyond what you can see.

[2012-02-08] A Google User: Excellent game to play while driving! I recently took a road trip and found this game... With its fully audible driven game play was fantastic! I played for about 2 hour when I was driving and when you have time to picture the story as narrated to you, you find it has an awesome storyline unique game play, and if you pay attention you can move through the game quite seamlessly. Make sure to 'Look Around', and test all the directions 'North' 'South' 'East' 'West'. The interaction is 100% up to you to figure things out. Needs better voices. |

[2011-12-09] A Google User: Doesn't work in Samsung Galaxy Gio Nothing I did (speaking or typing) could provoke any kind of response from the game. Also, the voice recognition complained unless I had an active Internet connection. |
