The shadow under the dance ruins the illusion. Logically she is moving clockwise. I bet if the picture was reversed then it would go counter clockwise

Wow! An easy way to see the spinning change directions is to turn her 90 degrees to one side then the other. So cool!

Look close. Yes it "kind of" spins both ways. The head and arms always spin CW. While legs spin on a mirrored half turn so it can be seen as CW or CCW
