Shogi в Android Market

Shogi(将棋), the ancient game of Japanese chess.

Shogi requires at least 256MB RAM and an additional one time 40MB download to run. At the moment, it only supports high-density screens.

Haizt I've been trying to download the data over wifi for soo0o0o long and til now didn't download it at all, would be nice if there's an alternate downloading source or at the very least continuation of download.. eventhough i have a fast connection.. really wanted to try ds app though

Don't download!!! After spending 40MB of my data bundles this thing won't even show me the whole board...waste of bundles...it's an insult to the general's game. You should've just developed this app to keep images of what shogi looks like, since that's what it's good for. XO

Poor for a tablet. Strong computer opponent. It's free, so I shouldn't complain, but I will anyway. The graphics are awful on the Samsung Note 10.1 tablet. I couldn't pick up pieces in the bottom left corner of the screen. Also, sound would be nice. One good point -- the computer opponent is fairly strong.

Long download: extracted ok. Not to be attempted on 3g My main problem is many shogi apps have Japanese commentary. Leaves me with problem of learning Shogi rules etc. Big problem for me.

Why do you need to download files. Once the apps open you can see the peices and field. Takes too long to download files and says prob w/ connection

The developer is very responsive. best shogi app on the market right now. Do not hesitate to try it out. X10. I need an undo move button though
