本填字遊戲由中文四字格詞語組成，玩家可通過不同遊戲形式，包括自選難度級別，溫習中文四字格詞語，寓學習於遊樂。

四字格詞語, 包括成語、熟語、俗語等, 是漢語一種結構獨特的固定格式, 它用字精練, 內涵豐富, 往往意超言外, 濃縮和集中反映了漢語及中國文化深厚的內涵。熟練應用四字格詞語, 能夠體現出使用者的豐碩語文根基。除了中國之外, 日本、韓國、越南等亞洲國家也都廣泛使用源於漢語的四字格詞語。
