In the game of Boxes, the players(you and computer) start with a series of boxes: some red and some blue. On each move a player selects two boxes of any color. These two will be replaced by a single one according to the following rule:

Same color boxes are replaced with a blue box. Different color boxes are replaced by a red box.

At the end of the game, when only one box remains, you are a winner if the remaining box is blue.

EARGAME DIRECTIONS

EarGame is a complete course of training in melodic and harmonic interval identification. EarGame is based on a controlled study, conducted by the author, involving freshman college music students.

With 66 carefully constructed Levels of learning, EarGame is great for beginning musicians, regardless of age. Each Tier contains 11 Levels. If you are a freshman music major, EarGame will give you confidence to pass your interval identification exams. With advanced SETTINGS, EarGame also provides a challenging refresher for advanced students and experienced musicians.

As with a musical instrument, with EarGame you PRACTICE and PLAY! EarGame uses only quality sound samples of actual musical instrument, including grand piano, strings, brass, and woodwinds. You will find the variety and quality of EarGame sounds enhance your learning experience.

EarGame engages three types of memory essential for learning music: aural, visual, and kinesthetic memory. EarGame uses high quality instrumental sound samples for your ears. And EarGame's visual appeal and touch interface engages your eyes and hands.

EarGame contains six Tiers with 11 Levels in each Tier. The six Tiers are:

Tier 1: Melodic Interval Novice
Tier 2: Melodic Interval Pro
Tier 3: Melodic Interval Maestro

Tier 4: Harmonic Interval Novice
Tier 5: Harmonic Interval Pro
Tier 6: Harmonic interval Maestro

The intervals used in the 11 Levels in each Tier are the same, but each higher Tier is more challenging in tempo, tone duration, and instrumentation. The Levels contain the following intervals.

  1  Ascending     P1, M2, P4, M7
  2  Ascending     m2, M3, TT, M6, P8
  3  Ascending     m3, P5, m6, m7
  4  Descending    P1, M2, P4, M7
  5  Descending    m2, M3, TT, M6, P8
  6  Descending    m3, P5, m6, m7
  7  Mixed         M2, P4, M6, M7
  8  Mixed         m2, M3, TT, P8
  9  Mixed         7 and 8 Combined
10  Mixed          m3, P5, m6, m7
11  Mixed          All Intervals

You should begin EarGame at Tier 1, Level 1.  You must PLAY and complete each Level, and answer 80% correct to move to the next Level.

You can touch EARGAME SETTINGS to go to the final Level of your current Tier, or to reset to Level 1.

EarGame will retain ONLY the highest Level that you have passed.

If you are unable to identify intervals at your Level, touch PRACTICE to learn the sounds and names of the intervals. Also, touch HOME, then INTERVAL PRIMER for basic instruction on interval identification.

HOW TO PLAY:

Objective:

The object of the game is to find the tile with the golden X in it using deductive logic in as few moves as possible in as short of a time as possible.n

Types of Tiles:

- Arrows reveal which direction the X is in.

- A yellow number reveals the closest distance (either vertical or horizontal) that the X is from that tile.

- A red number reveals the furthest distance (either vertical or horizontal) that the X is from the tile.

*Note: the number doesn't necessarily mean that the X is EXACTLY that many spaces vertical or horizontal (it is usually a combination of both). For example: if the number is a 3 then the X might be 3 spaces to the left AND 5 spaces up. A 0 means that the X is on the same horizontal axis or vertical axis as the number.

- A 'G' means that the X is in a green tile
- A 'B' means that the X is in a blue tile
- An exclamation mark ( ! ) is a bonus space that gives you a free move and bonus points!
- A question mark ( ? ) is an empty space.


Menu Buttons (at the bottom of the screen):

- (?) opens this help section
- (N): starts a new game
- The smiley face: changes difficulty (happier = easier, sadder = harder)
- The sound button toggles the sound effects and background music on/off

The goal of this game is to join the green parts. Press the middle buttons to let the parts glide. Use the left arrow to change the gliding direction. The red parts are fixed and the brown ones are removable from the board (marked points are lost).

The marbles are back, and this time they have invasion on their mind. But the brave folks of the world have come up with a solution: shoot marbles back up at them!

Marbles Invasion is a connect the marbles game where you shoot marbles up at an invading force of marbles. Connecting three or more same-colored marbles will result in destruction of those units, points for your score and a few more precious seconds of life for the planet.

But the marbles don't just come in normal colors. There are also two special marbles: the wild marble, which will take on the color it is hit with making it easier to shoot down, and the black marble, which cannot be shot down. Luckily, the black marble is worth a lot of points, so if you can blast out the marbles above it, you can rack up the points.

Similar to games like space invaders, those marbles won't wait for you, they are coming whether you like it or not.
