needs more stuff this game could be number one on the app store, but it needs so much more. im currently stuck with no coins, it seems like every time i get coins i have to buy pick axes and then fire balls to kill the goblin and then by the time i get money again i have to buy more pick axes and fire balls. i also have no idea where to find the undead knight. please add a better system to get coins then killing mobs, and spinning the wheel.

There's still hope The rating is dropping. They keep claiming they fixed the undead issue and it's still a problem. I should be much further along. I understand this is a WORK IN PROGRESS, but don't advertise features such as a new boss monster when no one can get to it!!! I really want to like this game. Please fix the quest issue!!

Great game but i'm worried that it's not finished and i'm wasting my time trying to complete missions that can't be completed... from all the comments on this page that seems to me the feeling i get. Have I missed it somewhere in the description that it says this game isn't finishable? Could you guys please add in a feature into the game that once you get to an unpassable mission we get a notification saying this is as far as the game goes, please wait for an update so we dont keep running around looking for someth

Getting there.... I have made the boat and 2 rings also the shovel (although could be explained easier) and have dug the tresure up so..... What now? I cannot access the dungon and i have the fairy,? Is it still broke or am i missing something? I tried 40 different crafting combos and found only the rings. Do i craft the key? help me here. Samsung galaxy s2 (update: still waiting on that fix)

A good RPG not ready for prime time Like many others I was very high on Pixel Quest when it first appeared. It does much right and is very much a Western style RPG vs all of the JRPG clones out there. It's basic structure seems pretty solid but it's quite buggy, with device specific issues that prevent some of us from getting past certain quests as well as occasional crashes. In addition it is VERY grind heavy. Since your character doesn't level up in any traditional sense, with new weapons, items and skills either purchased or rewarded, he never grows very strong. He starts off only able to beat wolves and snakes without using relatively expensive spells, and by the end of the first area is only strong enough to beat the next level of creatures, which includes skeletons and goblins. The game needs to be more generous in its rewards and make it so as the character progresses they can more easily beat the bandits and zombies and whatever else might be waiting. Instead it forces you to go back to the starting area, grind for gold, and do the same things over and over again just to progress. It's tiring and convoluted. More to the point, the game feels half finished (if that) and really needs to be fleshed out.

Undead bug is still undead This game is great, i love it. I just wish crafting recipes were easier to find, and the Undead bug is still not fixed....for the people that are griping about grinding, go play a retro RPG...you had to grind with those. But yeah 3 stars because of the bug and the recipes...fix those and you get 5 stars

Great game, but no walkthrough? This is a great game. I've really enjoyed all of it, included what little grind for coin/diamonds there may be. I'm really stuck on the room with the 4 colored circles. Any ideas?

Recipes Love this game, and love the concept of being able to craft your own gear and tools- 1 problem, I still cant figure out what the recipe for making the shovel is: W,W,CB... as in wood, wood, copper bar? and if so, how am i supposed to get the wood? I got a hatchet/axe and the only time ive ever been able to chop trees, the trees cleared out all together... O.O /confused~ HALPPPP PL0X fellow Pixel Quest playerssss! :D

Good rpg Im liking it. Still not found any craft recipes yet tho. If you think its necessary to "return to the begining to grind gold" everytime you run out id try the herbalism thing. House by the lake. Buy the scythe things. Money money

Enjoyable RPG Fun RPG with good updates and enjoyable quests. If you look at the boards (there is one at hershells farm and one at the start town) they give you the combinations for the shovel and boat

Fun game with a few bugs I love how quickly the developers are fixing the bugs and adding things to this game. One gripe is that even with the latest update, I still cannot progress further than the undead portion. I also don't see the newly added fairy, and I can't seem to figure out the treasure maps at all. Overall fun and addiction game. I just wish they'd work out all the kinks!

Is this game even finished I am also stuck at the part where the soldiers says you need to kill all the undead. The game is fun and challenging but I am real sick of spend alot of time on a game that I am not sure is even done. To all of you who cant get to the thieves hideout you have to cut down trees that are a bit darker and also you must kill a certain rogue I believe it the one near the lake or house to get the key that unlocks the hideout.

Lots of potential The game is fun and the added snakes help some with the coin "grind". Still getting enough coins/gems can be very time consuming. Game also seems to get hard quickly... Have played for about 7 hours and can't use smelted bars or herbs. *Update* Crafting system seems to be a headache. Can't make any jewelry or weapons or armor.

Force close on DROID 3 I really wish I could play this game. paid for it and got to the title screen. I press play, it starts to load, then FC's..... emailed dev, they responded with an alternate download file which also did not work. I'm hoping they respond to my last email. I'm not concerned about the $. 99, I just wanna play this game :-(

Interesting start I don't like the game economy, the deterioration of weapons and the load times in and out of battles. If these could be fixed without the need of ingame paid purchases and a more better economy (better drops, lower or no character upkeep) ill change my review

Nice old-school graphics, but grind-oriented Update: The most frustrating thing for me before was constantly having to go back to my house to replenish health, often after every fight. My health did NOT replenish when I played the game before unless I used a potion or went back to the house, which was the main reason I stopped playing, but it is replenishing over time now. Yaaay! Oddly I saw nothing about this in the update notes. The game is still grind-oriented, as several have noted, but I expect that will change. I am upping my review from 3 to 4 stars simply for the health replenishment. I look forward to seeing the game being enhanced over the coming months, and I especially look forward to crafting. The game looks beautiful and plays great on a Nexus 7.

Great game This is a really nice rpg. You have to grind at first, but once you start mining (and figure out out the wheel) it gets a lot easier. One flaw is the theives hideout, but the developers are supposed to release a fix today! I can't wait to see what's next!

Could be 5 Stars If you still can't.access the thieves guild quest just hold in there a little longer. I emailed the creators and they told me some devices still won't run it (I'm using an S1) they also said the issue would be fixed very soon.

Fun, but the grind is painful. The game is fun, but the grind for gold and gems is long. Their description says they're working on it, though. Even if they only increased gold drops by 1, it would be a great improvement. 5 star when the money grinding is less painful.

This game is enjoyable, and it has been steadily improving due to the regular updates. I still get stuck on bugs from time to time, but the devs are helpful and quick to respond to emails. Edit-the orb is in the thieves' hideout, which you need the Axe to reach.

Amazing game! Edit: Can't seem to figure out how to craft anything, nor find "the orb"... I've been playing through for a few days now and am having trouble putting it down. Could be good Edit 1/8: Entered the new area today and it took me 10g worth of magic to beat the enemies (even with the 4 ATK staff) there only to be rewarded with 4g or 5g. Back to grinding skeletons near the graveyard for cash. Also on the hunt for a place to craft. I love that the updates keep on coming!

Enjoyable classic game You play a mage that completes quests by exploring and battling creatures in the classic rpg format. It runs well on my flyer, controls are simple and the game play is easy to pick up. I encountered a bug where I got my character trapped and could not play anymore. I contacted the developers and they sent me a fast response letting me know that the next update would fix my problem, which it did :-) thanks, guys!

A lot of potential Update - attempting to pick up the merchant's quest no longer gets me sent into the middle of the forest when I try to x out, but I still can't pick up the quest. Nothing happens when clicking "accept." Sigh. No further progression.

Has promise The game has alot of issues right now and i unfortunetly cant recommend it but the developers are actively fixing bugs/adding content. They also seem open to constructive dialogue so i can say you should keep an eye out for this one. As always I reconsider the rating as the game updates.
