[2013-05-21] A Google User: Quite good adaptation of a classic This one comes without many options. I find it hard to remember the pieces on a screen as opposed to playing on a board, and it would be a nice option if pieces once exposed remained that way. Another option is that the spy can attack any piece, not just the most powerful one. Another option is to be able to reverse the numbers - strongest going either highest to lowest or vice-versa. This game doesn't have these options. What is really missing is an array of standard layouts - the AI seems to place pieces more or less randomly at the start. I know you can save favourite layouts, but it would be nice to have some standard ones to start with. The AI is terrible - too many instances when an individual pieces just meanders between two squares while you annihilate the rear lines of your AI opponent and find the flag. As against which, graphics are nice enough, sounds entertaining, and it is one of the best board games ever. |

[2013-03-12] A Google User: Mediocre, but fun if you're dying to play on the go The price point is too high for a game that isn't up to par. Legion uses the European style rank system and it can take some getting used to if you prefer the American system. There is no option to change this. Also the AI acts very strangely in the highest two levels and is surprisingly easy to beat. I expected more from a $3 game! |
