What is Sokoban?
Sokoban (means warehouse keeper in Japanese) is a classic puzzle game invented in Japan. The goal is to push boxes to their correct destinations in a crowded warehouse. The boxes can only be pushed, never pulled, and only one can be pushed at a time. It sounds stupid, but the levels range from very easy to extremely difficult, some takes hours and even days to figure out.
The simplicity and elegance of the rules have made Sokoban one of the most popular logic games. Today you can easily find a lot of clones over the web: Docker Sokoban, Sokoban 3D, Hexoban, Sokoman, Sokomind, Sokofun, Visual Sokoban, Box Man, Push Box etc. Google search request for the "sokoban" term provides close to one million web pages which is a great sign that tells us about the game big popularity.
