[2012-08-26] Thomas: It's okay Remembering the Kanji levels don't seem to match what I've read from the first 12 lessons, what's up with that? I also don't understand the SOD mode, the cursor just goes point by point. |
[2012-08-21] Matthew: Great ideas but falls short. Doesn't recognize writing. Sometimes when I write in the wrong order it won't recognize it. Fantastic software except recognition needs serious help. Fix that and I would probably pay money for the software. |
[2012-07-21] selbydate16: Great idea but... How do you say "I've finished!" If you manage to complete a kanji before the timer's up? It's like this app doesn't even notice. Needs to be a lot more user-friendly and get its bugs sorted bit before I could give it ****/*****. |
[2012-06-05] joel: Useful and enjoyable. Good application! |
[2012-05-15] Susan: I'm a beginner And i mean the VERY BEGINNING!! Is there one for beginners? I would give it 5 stars but i have no idea what I'm doing, what the characters mean, anything! Help me out!! |
[2012-03-26] Malin: Great! Greay way of learning kanji! But as said could use a skip-function. Also the stroke-order is wrong on a like one or two kanji. But otherwise - really good app! |
[2011-04-21] Raketemensch: For those who complain about recognition, the game uses actual stroke order, not just stroke count like most other apps. |
[2011-04-11] Johnny: Good app but could use a skip function. |
[2011-04-04] Dante: good idea for on the go kanji practice..kanji recognition needs a lot of improvement though it's very frustrating.also needs a larger writing area. |
[2011-03-04] Kiyoshi: The recognition could be a bit better (even my wife who is Japanese had problems with it). However it is still a good app to test yourself. |
[2011-02-24] Benjamin: A user-determined score would be nice, where it shows you the right answer and you tell it whether your feeble attempt at drawing the kanji was right. |
[2010-12-20] Setsuna: Poor stroke recognition, if phone sleeps then it crashes or timer spazzes out, and no skip option if you want to move past a character. |
[2010-12-19] Will: Was a good idea but extremely frustrating when it comes to recognition. I recommend waiting for a fix before installing. |
[2010-12-17] japadam: Timer bug. Agree with other comments. |
[2010-12-04] Raketemensch: Best Kanji app. For those who complain about recognition, the game uses actual stroke order, not just stroke count like every other app. |
[2010-12-02] Jeff: I like what it's trying to do, but as others have pointed out the recognition is really bad. Hopefully the author can fix this in the future. |
[2010-11-03] Jessa: Great idea, but the near total lack of recognition makes it unusuable. |
[2010-10-29] Mark: Really like the idea, just the recognition is buggy. Hope you keep working on it. |
[2010-10-20] sinhuat: It would be nice if kanji display when time is out. Room for improvement on hand written recognition. |
[2010-10-02] Yunhye: Sucks at recognizing |
[2010-10-02] Sarah: Sucks at recognizing |
[2010-09-29] Jc: Nothing like I thot it wud b! |
[2010-09-29] jc: Nothing like I thot it wud b! |
[2010-09-27] Ryo-ohki: Almost perfect, needs to display correct answer. |
[2010-09-15] J# Minor: Recognition hardly ever works. No button to show answer. Does not tell you the stroke order. Uninstalled. |
[2010-09-08] Sadie: Couldn't recognise anything I wrote; no skip button, or show answer |
[2010-09-04] Durand: Works really well, great for testing your kanji but not so good for actually learning. Interface also needs to be more android like but very promising |
[2010-08-14] Niklas Barsk: Promising but somewhat buggy. Double timer and force close. Would be nice if you could see stroke order of the kanjis in a learning mode. |
[2010-08-10] Daniel: Great app to learn kanji u have to write in correct stroke count or it won't work. Great way to learn. |
[2010-08-09] Bryan: Great idea, but the character recognition is totally broken! Fix that and you have at least a 3-star app. Pretty up the UI for another. |
