Before the introduction of Chess (Old Norse Skak-Tafl) in the XIth and XIIth centuries, Scandinavians sharpened their wits by playing a board game known as Tafl.
However, the term Tafl was most commonly used to refer to a game known as Hnefa-Tafl or "King's Table".

[2012-12-05] A Google User: Fun for beginners This app is the best of its kind (which isn't saying much), but is sorely lacking in features. The AI is incredibly bad and throws away all its pieces for no apparent reason. There definitely needs to be a higher difficulty level. The game freezes about half the time before wins: On the final move before my king reaches the corner, after all the black pieces are captured, and so on. As other people have pointed out, we can only play as white and the King can be captured by only two men instead of 4. If changes are ever implemented that add more variety to the game and fix the bugs, I'll give it 5 stars. |

[2012-10-21] A Google User: Poor performance overall Incredibly stupid AI, I have yet to loose a single piece in a game. You can only play one side: white. The game crashes every time as you make the final move and sadly that's the only thing about this game that is flawless. |
