[2011-08-05] 麥當勞: Best free go app For English user, it is best go app. The computer is okay, not as trivial as "Go Free". The computer is not as hard as "WegoIgo", but it is too easy to press wrongly in WegoIgo. GOdroid has made the game okay in every aspect. The Chinese translation is inconsistent and totally rubbish. Chinese players should read English first whether possible. For other comments: It is very easy to learn go online. This game do not need much inline tutorial (most chess game do not have inline tutorial as well). |
[2011-08-04] Byron: Best on market, but takes up 6.6 MB even with install to SD (space is very precious on the Desire). |
[2011-07-12] Mark: Best Go app for Android I've found. Uses Gnu Go engine so decent strength. Nice. And my version installs to SD. :) |
[2011-07-08] Abraham: Having a problem where the ai crashes in the middle of the game. I have to clear the program data and start again. |
[2011-07-07] stevehood: I can beat gofree on level 10 but this beats me on level 1! Great AI! Maybe I'll have to reduce its komi... |
[2011-06-25] David Plumpton: Good, but the scoring is terrible It frequently fails to mark a few points as being part of my territory when using Chinese rules. |
[2011-06-25] Misha: No menu options. Cant play a full sized board. |
[2011-06-22] Kirara: O.o |

[2011-06-22] David: Well done. |
[2011-06-19] Blacksheep: Great go engine. But can you allow us to review the whole game also? I want to study the games I win and lose so I can get better. |
[2011-06-12] Jeff: This is a fantastic go program for android. I would give it six stars if I could! |
[2011-06-05] Coco: Only one game so far but plays much stronger than GO Free which is fun but limited. |
[2011-05-31] garyo: Best Android Go program. Strong opponent. Wishes: review game after playing, use standard sgf format to exchange games, don't lose undo after stop. |
[2011-05-31] ChiangShan: It would be much better if they can improve the zoom in function and allowed to move the camera around when zooming in. |
[2011-05-30] Zachary: The zooming is somewhat frustrating, but it's still functional. At first it was great, but now it crashes during ai's turn in every game. |
[2011-05-14] Daniel: Best that I have tried Best that I have tried |
[2011-05-12] Nick: Amazing app for playing, works great on d1, dx, galaxy s tab and xoom :) looks better than any other free app for go. |
[2011-05-10] Donovan: GnuGo for the droid :D Fantastic. The SGFs it exports only show final position, but 5 stars for features and UI |
[2011-05-06] Donut: Favourite igo on droid. Good for starter |
[2011-05-04] William: Unplayable on touchscreen phone. |
[2011-05-01] Alexander: Love this game on my EVO 4G but then I also liked it on my Linux box before :-) |
[2011-04-10] Bill B.: Tough call between this one and gobandroid. This one has a non-standard sgf file format that doesn't open properly in standard sgf editors. DI |
[2011-04-01] Andy: Best Go app I've used on android. Computer is tough, but not too tough. Plays well with 2 people. Lots of great selection features. |
[2011-03-28] the 3/29/2011 Finally a nice and tree go app! |
[2011-03-26] Kasidis: Nice! |
[2011-03-25] shelleyfrank: Popup help, blacking out graphic when AI thinks, and blue navigation lines for stone placementthe is distracting and unappealing. Add Settings please |
[2011-03-21] Sebastian: Awesome Great way to view kgs files! |
[2011-03-11] Tom: Best free go app. It does have an undo feature despite many saying it doesn't. Good ai. Shame the zoom isn't multouch an update to this would be great |
[2011-03-09] Hardian: It needs app2sd..used aprox 6MB in my internal memory..but since i like this game..give it 5 stars |
[2011-03-07] Val: Only shows winning side score? Can't tell how close game was. |
[2011-02-28] peter: This is the most boring game ever made.. |
[2011-02-28] Ryan : Love this game, and the app is well built. Boring if you are not very bright, or do not like strategy. |
[2011-02-27] Alan: Best Go app for Android! |
[2011-02-24] Jonathan Chen: Pretty cool I love it, but it would be nicer if the zoom function was implemented using multitouch.. |
[2011-02-13] mcherm: This was one of the 2 best games I had for my Droid! But then I had to remove it for more space. :-( |
[2011-01-28] juanvi: Undo, please! Apart from that, good app for beginners and quick games. |
[2011-01-25] Jay: Don't bother playing unless you're a pro. If you are then it's a good app. |
[2011-01-06] Justus: Unfortunately large size caused by google's treatment of native code - the gnugo ai engine - means there's nothing the developer can do. |
[2010-12-30] Stephan: Very good app. Easy to misplaced your stones, bit the double-tap feature makes that flaw easy to overlook. Highly recommend this. |
[2010-12-30] David: Excellent goban game! |
[2010-12-26] Steve: Great client, difficult on bigger boards with constant zooming needing |
[2010-12-26] Stephen: Great client, difficult on bigger boards with constant zooming needing |
[2010-12-25] Marjan: Very good app but takes too much space when installed. Territory is not counted right when playing 2 player game. |
[2010-12-25] Bill: Tough call between this one and gobandroid. Keep switching between the two. Good job! DI |
[2010-12-24] aaron and christina: It's a great chance to play a timeless classic, but is not made for new players... also file is 6.06 mb needs SD compatability |
[2010-12-22] Ryland: Japanesse territory rules! AI beats me every time, no matter what setting I use. This is definantly for the experienced and knowledgeable Go player. |
[2010-12-21] Blue: This is not 4 in a row Weiqi. The rules are very poorly explained online. It looks like its a great game whatever the rules are. Uninstalled. |
[2010-12-19] PeteDetroit: Finally! I have someone to play GO against :) even if it is a droid |

[2010-11-08] Noah: Fantastic. Best Go app on the market. Only was to improve is IGS support. Again, fantastic. |
[2010-11-07] quen: Excellent implementation. Tutorial / easy mode for beginning players would be nice but probably not the point of this. |
[2010-11-01] ashe: Tough game... |
[2010-10-27] lego: An option to turn off AI's ability to resign would be nice. I want to play till the end! |

[2010-10-25] Anonymous: Excellent for what it does. Would have enjoyed multiplayer but don't expect it from a free product. |

[2010-10-10] g: The ai is a respectable opponent, and the ui is relatively intuitive. |
[2010-10-09] Rachel: Gnu Go is a great challenge for me, but the app would be much improved with true multitouch, better zoom & sensitivity, and an undo button. |
