Great crosswords. Good crossword app, they do vary in difficulty and there is no way of knowing how advanced any particular crossword is going to be but overall great exercise for your brain.

Almost perfect Really good app. Like many others have stated, some more challenging levels would improve the game for more experienced cryptic puzzlers, but still worth doing as it is. At least it doesn't leave you ripping your hair out for days while you try to answer a difficult clue! A scribble area on the screen somewhere to write letters for the anagram clues etc would be greatly appreciated - please consider it for the next upgrade.

Well designed, decent clues This is a slick little app, and a lot of thought has has gone into the design and the clues. The difficulty level is accessible but a challenge. Some of the puzzles might bamboozle you for a long time, but you'll get there without tearing your brain out in frustration. EDIT: Pack four is not cryptic at all and the clues are very very easy.

Reasonable distraction for a couple of quid However, clues are generally too easy, making too much use of anagrams and often clear just from the "straight" half. I'm a relative novice at cryptic crosswords and it only takes me about 15 mins to complete each one. For comparison, I often fail to solve the Evening Standard cryptic crossword even after spending an hour or so on it.
