Chinese Dark Chess , or Half Chess, is a two players board game, played on a 4x8 grid. Most games last between ten and twenty minutes. It is a social game, usually played for fun rather than serious competition.

Don’t worry about the Chinese characters, for children and foreign friends, we design the image chess for you. It is easy and fun.

Wont save games This is a great game and it brings back good memories but when I turn my screen off, the game restarts. I often turn my screen off because of habit to save my battery when I focus on something else. Every time I turn it back on, the game has been reseted. Please stop the game from restarting every time the screen turns off.

What a great game Like draughts or chess, but because pieces are unknown until the are revealed by the player a game can end in failure even if you look as though your walking it and vice versa of course.

Starron This game cheats in the way it sets up the pieces, especially with its canons having clear shots, and ours having none. It seems odd that it puts its major pieces right next to these, but I only have pawns around the computer's. Luckily, the computer is stupid.

Very good ... For all the blitz chess players out there - you should try the "The Mastermind" for a multiplayer challenge with chess-like time limits and nice graphics. It is very much like the blitz chess for me and I love it! There is also a game mode for kids to learn.

Simple Ok, its pretty damned simple. Theres not much to it, the computer has two levels and to be honest they both seem the same. graphics are cheese and i swear the computer cheats.BUT i play this game constantly. Its terrific for killing a few minutes. i would recommend it 150%!

Not bad The game is not bad, but why programmed it so it is more disadvantaged for the gamer and advantaged for the computer? The computer's pawn is often placed right next to my King, and the computer's Canons are always placed in one piece away from King or other big pieces. This does not make the game harder, but impossible to win. I think it will be better if the pieces are placed randomly. There's no need to have different levels.

Wrong order for pieces What's up with the order? Chinese Chess is always King -> Rook -> Horse -> Cannon -> Bishop/Advisor -> Elephant -> Pawn And I don't recall a "jumping" cannon either, but that may be a local (HK) variation.
