Fun tactics game, but the UI is tiny This is a fun tactics game in the vein of Advance Wars with lots of depth. My only gripe is with the UI - the buttons and unit icons are so tiny that it's easy to tap the wrong thing, and the different units start to look alike since they're realistically proportioned! Well, OK, one more thing - it uses battery at an inordinate rate for a 2D strategy game!

Best multi-player strategy game I think the game is like chess, age of empires, and risk set on a Settlers of Catan like board, with a starship troopers ambience to it. Great game! The cross platform multi-player and map making ability rocks.

Wish there were more games like this Wow. Love it. Excellent balance between a strategy and board type game. Not too complex to learn yet very rich in strategy. I wish we could keep more than 20 games going at a time. If you play large multi player games then you end up having very few turns to play in a day.

Great app. always a challenge waiting. Best strategy/tactics game on my phone. Addictive. The races have enough differences to make playing them interesting and challenging. Only complaint is cumbersome to add new friends, previous build had an option from in a battle to add a friend to your list of friends. Fair game but Great Big War Game much better. Had been playing this game for some time. its a fair game but got easily bored of it. I am now playing a similar turn based game called Great Big War Game (GBWG). Its really awesome. The gameplay of GBWG is awesome and the cross-platform with iOS & Windows is superbly done.

Only 21 missions, you kidding ? Campaign mode is only 21 missions and goes real fast. Eats battery like crazy. Had I known this I would not have bought it. Good game but needs to use more screen, kinda small graphics. Maps need to be bigger. NEEDS MORE LEVELS IN CAMPAIGN MODE FOR SURE. Do Not Buy Until Developer Addresses these issues..

Love it! Plays as advertised, really like the online feature. AI is a bit of a breeze, even on hard. Higher difficulty or AI enhancements wouldnt solo play. GS1, runs perfectly. Battery does go quick, but so does the time! :) Great job dev. Would love to see new units, esp air and sea. Definitely worth the $. Thanks for a great game!

Starcraft! This game is amazing. Love all the hard work they put into it... It is almost just like Starcraft expect it is turn based. I looove the fact that I can play against friends on ios.... This is one of the first great games that is truly cross platform.

Universally Awesome. I have spent many an hour playing Uniwar over these last couple of years and it is one of the most entertaining apps on my phone and the one I have spent the most time playing. This is a substantial achievement given that minecraft pocket edition and both angry birds games are among my library. The game play is great, balanced, and a little nostalgic. The multiplayer is great both local and distanced. Also the free upgrade to HD revamp is a very admirable gesture. Thanks guys.

Some issues need to be addressed but still 5 stars Very high battery consumption (even after 1.5.16) and some CPU heating still present. I really hope these issues get addressed soon. Nevertheless this game truly deserves 5 stars.

Solid - best of its kind The campaign is short, easy, and plays out more like a tutorial. The thrust of the game is online play. Default turn length is a day, but that can be changed. Lots of maps and you can play with 2, 3, 4, 6, or 8 people. Eats battery. Also, lousy map editor. Can't turn off vibration alert. Not perfect, but solid game.

Horrible on Galaxy Nexus I bought this game for my original Droid Incredible and it ran smoothly without any issues. Two years later I upgrade to a much more powerful Galaxy Nexus and now it runs choppy and also drains battery like no other app I own. Emailed the dev and also posted to their forum about this, and didn't get a response. I see other people have similar problems and yet not even a response from the developer about this? I would give the app 5 stars on my original phone but 2 stars as it currently is on the GNex.

Holy cow! Absolutely lovely presentation, easy one-finger play, simple mechanics. Have not tried it on my SGS2 but on my Transformer it is without a doubt the nicest-looking of the TBS games i have played on droid (i like it better that Great Little War Game, though some will prefer that one's style). If you like Advance Wars, or any number of similar games, this one is for you. Multiple difficulty settings, too (thanks for that, devs!).

If you like turn based strategy this is a great game. I would rate 5 stars if all the playing fields available instead of just the 32 if you play by yourself off line. Of the 32 play fields only about 12 are any good. Fun and addictive.

Excellent game Turn-based mecha-tech mayhem! Can play campaign-mode, online with buddies, and skirmishes! Really fun concept; reminiscent of playing Battle Chess, but much cooler, 'cuz you've outfitted/upgraded your pieces with machine guns. And tanks to drive around in. And helicopters to fly around. And then there's that teleportation ability you can use... anyhow, you get the idea.
