The BEST!! There just isn't enough space here to rave about star traders - the scope of it simply blows away any other game for android, it really is a whole world! The developers (Cory and Andrew Trese) actually take into account every comment made on their forum... and quickly! They answer, fix bugs and improve the game based on feedback while being friendly and inclusive. This is by far the best app I've come across and I will definatley be getting elite.

Love the game The game is a helluva lot of fun. Only issue I have is with how fast the messages pop up and disappear before I can read them. This leads to failed contracts and/or not knowing what houses allied with who and what not.

I love this game! I have not found any game like it in fun and quality combined.... I don't have the elite version but I am very happy with this. I have only two bad things to say about it- my captains have been deleted with updates AND you shouldn't download it if u can't afford to waste time. It is quite challenging so I would advise getting any officers u can...

Also id love it if u could make it to where if I'm in the middle of a contract and i have to close the game to do something and then open it back up the game will remind me of my contract. Aliens spoil this game I think this is a great game, but when you start playing on level hard or above, it is spoiled by alien attacks. You can't retreat, you can't defeat. I spent a good while building reputations, bought a great ship, etc only for it to be ruined in one encounter. Perhaps an ship upgrade that helps avoid them?

Best space sim on android Simple graphics and sound hide a very involved space simulator involving trading, exploring, fighting, bounty hunting and much more. The appeal wears off after a while with no defined goals or endgame, but there are many enjoyable hours to be had here.

Good ideas terribly executed A deep spce roll player that give absolutely no hint as to how it decides anything. Basically every game will consist of you running missions until a major faction decides to label you a criminal, then you will be attacked every four feet. Cost of fuel barely balanced by mission rewards, stats are meaningless, and apparently guessing at how the game works is supposed to be fun.

Good space rpg It's pretty good, the ability to disable certain features or change the chance of features like trade embargo's would make that extra star. I can't count how many times I become the enemy of a faction simply because I was trading with another. Maybe nerfing the relationship decline of violating trade bans would be cool too. I also suggest adding the ability to create your own empire, it wouldn't need strong 4x elements but would nice nonetheless.

Excellent indie game... The Trese brothers are the best indie devs out there. Been playing Star Trader for about a week and that was enough to get me to download their other titles. No permissions. No ads. Just a free game with an option to buy the much more robust paid version at only $3. I always told myself I would never buy a game from Google Play, but these guys have me very close to eating my words. Can't ask for much more than you will get with this download.

Pocket Version of Masters of Orion If you ever wanted to be Han Solo, the smuggler, a space pirate, space archaeologist, an honest capitalist merchant, or a Captain of a military ship stopping and checking all of the former, this is the RPG phone sim for you. Intrigue and political faction trade bans and wars remind me a little of Alpha Centauri. Cool reputation system makes you own your role and choices.
