Shifting Sands is the newest game available from rofl newb creations!
Based on the classic "fall down" arcade games, Shifting Sands introduces a new twist by having you guide fifty pieces of sand through the gaps in rising platforms.
Earn points by keeping as much sand from reaching the top of the screen for as long as possible, with a bonus for time. Compete against friends & family for high scores using the Scoreloop network.
Other features include:
- Ten trophies / achievements managed by Scoreloop.
- Three skins / themes.
- Three difficulties:
-- Easy: Platforms accelerate slowly and are a fixed distance apart.
-- Intermediate: Platforms accelerate more quickly and gap size varies.
-- Hard: Platforms accelerate even faster, gap size varies and distance between platforms changes.
Shifting Sands was created using the AndEngine Android game engine and the Box2d physics engine.
ANDROID PERMISSION INFORMATION:
Wake Lock: Stops the screen from dimming or turning off in the middle of your game.
Vibrate: Vibrates the phone, of course.
Internet: Used by Scoreloop to submit scores & trophies, and by AdMob.
Access Network State: Ensure an internet connection is available for Scoreloop and AdMob.
Read Phone State: Used by Scoreloop to identify your phone between games and automatically load your profile.
