Your friends are trapped in the world of the demon flies. They are about to be eaten by those carnivorous demons. To rescue your friends, you have to kill all the hateful demons. Letting one friend eaten, you will lose 5 points. Killing one demon flies, you will gain 20 points. If you mistakenly kill one of your friends, you will lose 10 points. The game is over when you kill all the demon flies, and go to the next level.

This is the demo version of Survival Trail.

Comments: To Crinel, thanks for the input.

Issues: This game has a relatively large memory footprint. If you are experiencing repeated crashes, this is most likely due to running out of memory and unfortunately due to the game's design this would require a near complete rewrite to fix. Don't get the full game if you experience such issues.


There are no food or health items in the demo version so the player character will die after a few minutes of play time.

THE GAME:
Survival Trail is an isometric open-world zombie survival game.

You start with no supplies and next to no money and must search the world for supplies to stay alive.

Use food to restore your hunger level, health items to replenish your health and weaponry to survive the occasional zombie.

FEATURES
* My own personal Isometric tile based engine
* Beautiful musical sound track consisting of 7 long tracks of eerie music,
* Ambient sounds like fires, streams, waves, wind, forests and towns,
* A game world consisting of around 29 maps to explore,
* NPCs to talk to and buy or sell goods from
* A timed spread of zombies across the map starting from the graveyard and eventually consuming most of the game world.
* Safe zones to relax in while the zombies spread
* A needs system (in the demo there are no health or food items)

The full version is not available in all countries yet as the Android Market is not really made for solo developers like myself and I have to read up on the laws of each country myself. If you enjoy the game and can't get the full version please send me an email to see if I can add your country. I will add countries as I learn their relevant laws.

The full version is currently available in:

NOTE:
While the game should scale for lots of different screen resolutions and densities, it's performance may be below optimal in some cases, particularly with devices with large high density screens (e.g. tablets) without an equivalent increase in power. Rather than deliberately exclude these users from getting the game I have left it up to you to decide if you consider the performance acceptable or not.
Also as it was made with ldpi,mdpi and hdpi screens in mind I am not certain what will happen on xdpi screens, most likely you will be able to see the edge of the visible map pop in but it should be playable otherwise. Please don't take it out on the score of the game.

As you can imagine, it's very difficult to develop an app that will work on the hundreds of different Android devices available.

Known Bugs:
*Force Closing a lot on some phones, I am not certain why the game force closes quite often on some phones. It most likely is due to the high memory usage of the game for loading tiles or differences in Android versions as it runs quite well on my Galaxy Tab 7" and my Galaxy Europa, however please send in error reports as it helps me track it down.

*On some phones, the phone becoming sluggish and eventually crashing - not sure what's causing it. Could be differences in the Android versions as I developed the game on a Samsung Galaxy Europa and Samsung Galaxy Tab Wifi

Your task is to control Spittr, a human spitting machine. Hit birds, cyclists, ships, airplanes and even a war tank! The smaller and faster the target, the better is the reward by hitting it. Turn yourself into a pro by earning gold medals, figuring at the top of world leaderboards and unlocking achievements!

-- About the Game --
The game features three gameplay modes:
1) Minimum Score: the job here is to reach the minimum score; be sure not to waste the special spits, because they give you twice the points you'd normally get.
2) Eliminate All Targets: spit at the targets and eliminate one by one. Points are not important within this objective, but time.
3) One Shot: how is your accuracy? Hit the different target of each wave of targets. Hitting wrong targets makes you lose valuable seconds.

Free version: play the first four levels which take place on a beach. Get a feel for all the gameplay modes available, and if you think you're up to the challenge, move up to the full version, which features more scenarios, levels and targets.
Game updates: depending on user ratings, free updates will be available, featuring new scenarios, levels and general enhancements. So if you like the game, be sure to rate it. Bug fixes will be delivered as soon as possible.
Internet access: required if you want to use the leaderboard and achievement features
