In military and law enforcement terminology, a sniper rifle is a rifle used to ensure more accurate placement of bullets at longer ranges than other small arms. A typical sniper rifle is built for optimal levels of accuracy, fitted with a telescopic sight and chambered for a military centerfire cartridge. The military role of sniper (a term derived from the snipe, a bird which was difficult to hunt and shoot) dates back to the turn of the 18th century, but the true sniper rifle is a much more recent development. Advances in technology, specifically that of telescopic sights and more accurate manufacturing, allowed armies to equip specially-trained soldiers with rifles that enable them to deliver precise shots over greater distances than regular infantry weapons. The rifle itself could be based on a standard rifle (at first, a bolt-action rifle); however, when fitted with a telescopic sight, it becomes a sniper rifle.

We have tested this on as many devices as possible if you have a problem with a particular device please let us know! For best results play on 480 x 800 resolution screens or higher. Although it will run on lower resolutions and simpler devices we cannot guarantee performance will be as good. Try killing all other apps if you are using a smaller device. We are still working to improve Deflecticon so do not hesitate to contact us with suggestions!

To address some comments:
-We may release an HD version of the app at a later stage but at the moment we are concentrating on getting multi-player done. We understand that the textures are not perfect for really large screens.

-Wait messages are now removed but push mode is limited in levels now. Let us know what you think of the change!
