PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16 (TG16) emulator based on Mednafen 0.9.22-wip (GPL), designed and tested on the original Droid/Milestone, Xoom, Galaxy S2, Nexus 7, and Xperia Play, but works on many devices with similar specs.

Features include:
* Accurate emulation and high compatibility rate (Note: Data swapped TG16 roms are not supported, see known issues on website for a fix if you're getting a black screen on load)
* Backup memory and save state support, auto-save and ten manual slots for save states
* Supports ROM-based games in .pce and .sgx formats, optionally in .zip files
* CD emulation via loading CUE or TOC+BIN files, select a system card rom in the options
* CUE files support external audio tracks in Ogg Vorbis & Wav (PCM, ADPCM, etc) formats
* Configurable on-screen multi-touch controls & keyboard support (up to 4 touches supported at once)
* Multiplayer-capable Wiimote/Classic Controller/Wii U Pro Controller, iControlPad, and Zeemote JS1 support (Wii controllers not yet working on Android 4.2), also works with any generic Bluetooth/USB gamepad supported by Android
* Portrait/Landscape auto-orientation support

No ROMs are included with this app and must be supplied by the user. A number of public domain games/demos are available at www.pdroms.de. Transfer games anywhere to your internal storage/SD card and browse to them from within the app (default SD card directory is /mnt/sdcard).

Perfect! Perfect emulator, plays great on all my devices. I own a NEC Duo R with a great selection of HU card's and CD games. This emulator emulates them as faithfully as I can play them on the original hardware . The real bonus is that it let's me do this whilst on the go. Using a black wii-mote with the wii-mote controller free app to play games with. Great fun at the office during lunchtime playing Soldier Blade.

AWESOME!!! OK I have your NES emu and SNES emu. So when I thought I would finally be able to play the illusive Godzilla Battle Legends for the first time I jumped to buy this emu, and after a long search and so many system cards that would not work I came across syscard3.pce and viola! I finally am able to play this game. This works mint for TurboGrafx games and after some leg work mint for turbo duo super CD's Amazing job!

I wish NEC had survived into the 32bit console era This emulator is fantastic. TG-16 emulators are a dime a dozen on every current platform out there. This one emulates HuCards as well as anything else out there. The GUI is simple yet offers everything you could want from an emulator running on an Android device. Where this emulator really stands out is in its ability to flawlessly emulate TurboDuo "Super CD's"! Games like Cosmic Fantasy 2 and ShapeShifter, which I never thought I would have the opportunity to play again (even tho I own actual physical copies of them) are now literally available, at all times, in the palm of my hand. If you score this app less than 5 stars it means that either you are using a a device that is weaksauce or you don't know what you are doing. I can't believe I can play thru Cosmic Fantasy 2........ in a shelter on the Appalachian Trail....... freakin' awesome. If you missed the TG-16 generation of games you should check it out. There are some serious hidden gems.....especially if you are into RPG's!

Very impressed I'm surprised that I like this as much as I do. I even like playing R-type better on here than the dot.emu arcade port version. (R-type split rom-- R-type complete ROM blackscreened ) The touch controls are better than expected-- if you go off the edges of the imaged d-pad, it still registers. It feels almost as good as the first-touch-is-center style on games like in "six guns." That just goes for the landscape touch controls though, the portrait touch controls felt all wrong. Great on my HTC Droid DNA.

Great! But not perfect! there is only a one thing stopping this app from being perfect; No turbo switches! The switches are not just a very important part of the turbografx experience, but they are essential for shooters which makes up a huge chunk of the TG library. They allow you to hold a button down for rapid fire, and pressing the buttonsjj really fast over and over again is not how these games were meant to be played. It even makes some games unplayable! please fix this! Then it will be perfect :)

Best PC Engine emulator available Great emulation, loads of options, high compatibility. Supports CD games and even Super Grafx games (all five of them!). Only slight issue is Super CD compatibility isn't perfect - some games ask for the Arcade Card 3.0 when it's already in use and working with other games.

PCE CD has a new home on Galaxy S 2 Thanks to developer for adding CRT / scan lines, similar to Magic Engine. For a long time my Sapphire and Dracula X CDs were collecting dust, hardly played for lack of a place to set up with kids and what not. Now, the games get played tons. PCE-CD ROMs can be the .bin type with cue. l had some bogus Android emulatuor prior to this one that was all fluff and required iso, making TOC, and re-encoding music as .WAVs... oh brutha... And that guy doesn't provide support anymore. Glad to say it's irrelevant now.

Perfect! Fantastic emulator, works flawlessly on Xperia Play. As an added bonus, reading about this emulator led me to discover Mednafen on Linux. I think I've died and gone to PC Engine heaven. If your having black screen issues its caused by opperator error and lack of knowledge and experience. Download and Use "Game Hunter" to unzip all rom game down loads. You must unzip the roms for most emulators to read the file. Hope that helps.

Amazing! Robert Broglia answered me about CD worki Amazing emulator, Robert Broglia gave me the procedure to get the CD games working. The sounds files can't be MP3, they must be .WAV. Just convert all MP3 to WAV and update the CUE file to the new file name(s) and file type with a simple text editor (for the newly converted WAV files). I am now playing the legendary CD game Dracula X and is it really fun! This emulator supports my PhoneJoy blue-tooth PS3 style controller through BluezIME. PCE.EMU and has opened up a world and a surprising amount of fun!

The best PC Engine emulator Another trully awesome emulator by the developer. The best PC Engine emulator on any portable device - incl PSP. Games that weren't running (or with problems) on the PSP... run beautifully on this emulator. Hook this up to the TV & you've got a PC Engine in the house....sweet :) Beware!
