Oubliette (v. 2.2) Разработано GabySoft |
If you wish to try the game before you buy, there is a Lite version available which give you full access to the first 2 levels.
Version 2.1 of Oubliette is a major update with a number of new features:
- It is now possible to have multiple users on the same device, each with their own set of game data. To create a new users simply select the 'Switch User' option from the main screen and enter a new user name.
- You can now both buy and sell items in the shop. In addition, you can find random non-basic items for sale.
- The Fireball, Lightning Bolt and Ice Storm spells now target only one monster group, and no longer do any damage to the party.
- The inventory system has been reworked. There is now one master pack which is shared by all characters. You will no longer need to transfer items from one character to another.
- The upper levels have been made easier, and the lower levels harder You will only get one monster group when you are on level one, one or two monster groups on level 2, up to three monster groups on levels 3 through 7, up to 4 monster groups on levels 8 & 9, and up to 5 groups on level 10.
- The gold situation is much improved at the beginning of the game. You will start with less gold, but should be able to find sufficient gold to be able to rest.
- The aging has been reduced. You now will age by weeks instead of months.
- Special rooms now yield new unique items with new powers as well as portal gems.
- Dungeon level 11 has been added, complete with a final boss.
- Both phone and tablet devices are now supported.
- Many minor improvements have been made which are too numerous to mention.
Oubliette is the classic multiplayer dungeon fantasy role playing game, finally available on Android phones. Build a party of fighters, priests, mages and thieves to run deep into the dungeon. Test your courage and skill against groups of orcs, trolls, vampires and dragons.
Earning its reputation as the thinking man's dungeon game, Oubliette blends the thrill of mortal combat with the sublime challenges of strategy, planning and adaptation. Rather than testing your reaction speed and nerves, like a first person shooter, Oubliette challenges the player to do
careful strategic planning as well as make tactical decisions in the heat of battle.
Each player (character) in the game is created from one of eight player races, which vary in attributes such as strength, intelligence, dexterity and durability. Elves are highly intelligent and (potentially) immortal, Orcs are strong with short life spans, Dwarves are strong with high wisdom, Kobolds are quite weak in most areas but advance more quickly.
Depending on these attributes, each player will be qualified to join a limited number of player classes (occupations). More balanced players will have more choices, including Hirebrand (fighter), Mage, Priest and Thief. Less commonly, players may be qualified for a highly selective class with special skills such as Ranger, Sage, Paladin, Samurai or Ninja.
Unlike games which focus on a single player against multiple opponents, Oubliette allows a party of up to 10 players with complementary skills to face the various types of monsters found in the dungeon. There are more than 160 different monsters, and to deal with them, more than 150 different pieces of equipment, which may be enchanted with special properties or skills.
Oubliette is challenging, but forgiving. New players commonly have their parties wiped out by an unfamiliar group of monsters. In fact, your party can meet up to 3 monster groups at the same time! Use the Temporal Chamber to save a Temporal Portal before dangerous trips. If things turn out badly, use the Temporal Chamber to turn back the clock and try again. The trapeze is every bit as thrilling, but safer, with a net below.
Explore the easier levels of the dungeon to build your party and expertise. And then, when you are ready, feel the power of the game on the deeper levels. Onward to Glory!

[2012-12-11] A Google User: Decent game, some room to grow Not being familiar with the original, not sure how much of the quirkiness is inherited from there. Even so, it's time to abandon some of the less useful 'features' perhaps. Pros: Combat system is good overall. Lots of variety with races, classes. Replicated gameplay top notch. Cons UI needs tons of work-consolidate options, don't duplicate them, etc. Pics of mobs make no sense. More party formation options. |
[2012-12-05] A Google User: Great, very old-school dungeon bash Simple tactical and engaging. A very good little game. Also, John Gaby, the dev, is incredibly helpful. |
[2012-11-26] A Google User: Mediocre! Quite simply, as an RPG fan and a games player for 25 years, I can say that this game is below average for the genre! Rose tinted specs! |
[2012-11-08] A Google User: Best Old School RPG on mobile!! Oubliette has its roots in a masterfully written multiplayer RPG from the dawn of computer gaming. Not only is this a faithful rendition, but it has a few features gleaned from the decades of RPG development without sacrificing the flavour if the original. Customer support is A+ with the Dev himself responding to all questions within hours of sending! In short, this is the best few dollars I ever spent on an app. The only thing I can ask for is a little more variety in the monster graphics. ;-) |
[2012-10-25] A Google User: Goatmilker This game is awesome! The only game I have ever spent money on for my phone. |
[2012-10-17] A Google User: Grrrr The game itself is fantastic. I love games like this but sadly it crashes constantly on my asus transformer infinity. |
[2012-09-09] A Google User: Awesome Great rendition of the game. If you liked the old Wizardry series, then you will enjoy this. |
[2012-09-07] A Google User: Retro Dungeon RPG Reminds me of my old Amiga gaming. They need to add a "You have X number of saves left" when saving message, because I misunderdood how it worked, and didn't know I was running out until I was out. |
[2012-09-01] A Google User: Great old school thoughtful romp If you are debating ...buy it...great spinner of time. I couldn't be more happy with the game and the responsive staff. Playing on tf300t and HTC amaze. plays well. Steep learning curve not like these sissy games of today (just kidding). ....strategy and luck and common sense. Great port/remake of a classic. This is a branch of the roots of today's RPG. After the text based adventures... Thanks for a great game. |
[2012-08-25] A Google User: Just what I was looking for. I dl'd the lite version of the game and after only a few minutes was really glad I did. After my first run into the castle I rested and bought the full game. It has the feel to me of the rpg games of the 90s but updated. I love the creation process and the active fights. Thank you for the magnify text options!!! |
[2012-08-24] A Google User: Great Game Having lots of fun playing this game. Have several games on my android but this has to be one of my favorites. The complexity of the dungeon really keeps you on your toes. Only to level 4 so far. Cant wait to see the rest. |
[2012-08-13] A Google User: Must have classic rpg It a little bit like might and magic 1. Start with the light version and when you upgrade to the full version you will be able to keep your progress. Tips 2 samurai and 4 ranger any race will do but I prefer the elf for not dying of old age. |
[2012-08-04] A Google User: Fun Game Great time killer Not super involved, but fantastic for old school RPG fans if like me, you need to be able to put the game down at a moments notice and come back to it later. Not hard to play, however I love that your characters can stay dead (sometimes they rez sometimes you have to bury them where they fell) makes it a great combo of easy to learn but still challenging. Is this a remake of an oldschool game? It definitely has that classic feel. |
[2012-08-01] A Google User: Excellent! This is an excellent dungeon crawl style rpg and I would love to see more games like this one. It is similar to a roguelike where you can have 10 party members at once. This game is not for everybody though. If you don't like RPGs that have no story, then this is probably not your style. |
[2012-07-26] A Google User: Wtf Ha game makes no sense and "strategy" if you can call it is only to go into a hole and have wave after wave of ppl die. Yeah real fun... |
[2012-07-22] A Google User: The pain the pain... Without a doubt my favourite game on the android. This is the most difficult game I have seen in a long time, and I am loving it. I have lost so many characters to that one more run through a level before heading back to the surface. The developer is also very responsive and has responded directly to support requests for myself. Now I just have to figure out how to get to level 11... |
[2012-07-17] A Google User: This IS your Daddy's RPG! And I'm Daddy - lol. I played Obliette to death on an IBM PC with a CP/M emulator. This and Wizardry hooked me for life. I was just browsing the app store, looking for a game for my tablet. I did not want another "tosser" or bird shoot! Ran across this and bought it on the spot. Beware! It is not a pansy hold your hand game! You will lose characters you become attached too if you just rush in! Runs like a charm, the extra download data (30+MB) came in so fast, makes the last Gameloft download look positively glacial. Thank you GabySoft! (Get us a Wizardry! ) |

[2012-07-08] A Google User: Great game Perfect. |
[2012-05-27] A Google User: Great game!!! Great game!!! Haven't been able to stop playing since I started. It reminds me of early Might & Magic type RPG.Lots of dungeon crawling fun, hope they do a part 2. |
[2012-04-24] A Google User: Addiction renewed Great changes to the game. This makes it easier to build characters with a very challenging boss to beat |
[2012-04-18] A Google User: Well done! This reminds of older dungeon crawlers. Brings back alot of memories. |
[2012-04-16] A Google User: Throwback from the 80s Great intense rpg. it's a lot of fun and the customer service it's outstanding. Hoping for a google tv version. |

[2012-04-13] A Google User: Best native, old-school RPG on Android I’m not sure if people know, but Oubliette is actually a classic game from 1983 – but it’s nice to see that they have kept the original’s charm while adding additional content such as an 11th level, secret rooms and a boss battle. The game itself is simple, but it’s well implemented and the party/character building is spot on. Any fan of Eye of the Beholder, Dungeon Master or party-based rogue-likes will be at home here. Battles aren’t very complex, but the strategy really comes when weighing up the risks and rewards – do you use your spells/potions or will you need them later? While I would enjoy something with a bit more depth outside of character creation and combat, Oubliette is easily the best native Android RPG I’ve seen. One change I'd like to see: Would love gender to be selectable rather than have it random. And if the dev was to consider an all new Oubliette II, I'd love to see Eye of the Beholder style side quests and puzzles added in the mix. Considering how easy it would be to port, I’m shocked (and somewhat annoyed) that there haven’t been any Might & Magic or Eye of the Beholder ports on the market – but thankfully Oubliette offers a compelling alternative. |
[2012-04-13] A Google User: Oubliette 2.1g If you remember the DOS version, the Android version is a faithful update with first person perspective. Those who missed it on their home computer can experience the magnificence of an Eye of the Beholder or Dungeon Master style game, executed extrordinarily well. Difficulty is higher than others in the genre, but much easier than the PLATO version. Be smart and cautious to succeed. I love the improvements to inventory and the ability to save progres via Portal Gems. Multiplayer please, if possible! |
[2012-04-13] A Google User: Really buggy First of all, the game requires an additional 22 megs to run *after* installation. Secondly, every time I shut my phone off the game uninstalls. This last update wants 22 more megs. And none of this extraordinary memory demand is reflected in the game itself. Ive had girlfriends who were lower maintenance than this game. |
[2012-04-12] A Google User: El Brilliante! Being a long time crpg veteran and enjoyed all the fruits of twenty five years of dungeon crawlers, I'm just deep down impressed to have this on my phone. Deep. Down. In. My. Heart. I STILL LOVE YOU MAN |
[2012-03-15] A Google User: Awesome game Love it soo much tried the lite and wanted more!!! However sometimes it crashes on me and there needs to be more detail in items more history! |
[2012-02-20] A Google User: A great old school game... Love to give these guys a million and see what they come up with. It's a lot like Bards Tale or Wizardry. They capture the spirt but move on with the times. I have been looking for this game for a long time. Many thanks to the guys who made a new classic. |
[2011-12-04] A Google User: Awsome This is a game you can play for countless hours and it never gets old. Great game |
[2011-10-28] A Google User: Great dungeon crawler! Simple and challenging gameplay makes Oubliette an extremely fun and addictive dungeon crawler. Great dev too! |
[2011-08-27] A Google User: Great retro style dungeon crawl. Could be harder though ;) |
[2011-07-12] A Google User: Great rendition of the old school dungeon crawler. Soon to have lots of cool upgrades! Quick dev response time to questions and suggstions. |
[2011-07-04] A Google User: WHY CAN'T I QUIT?! |
[2011-06-23] A Google User: Great game! Could be improved if they sorted out the spells and allowed characters to drop items and pick them up again. |
[2011-06-16] A Google User: Great game... run Aragon run the 5 are near u... Muah haha (evil laugh)... |
[2011-06-16] amos: Great game... run Aragon run the 5 are near u... Muah haha (evil laugh)... |
[2011-06-13] A Google User: Brings me back. More spells would be nice, seeing how half the good ones hurt own party. |
[2011-05-22] A Google User: Actually Kal is pretty much correct about the spells. While not completely useless, they are nearly so, which we hope to address in the next version. |
[2011-05-22] John: Actually Kal is pretty much correct about the spells. While not completely useless, they are nearly so, which we hope to address in the next version. |
[2011-05-20] A Google User: Amos, I had read the spell descriptions. What about them? It warns that Fireball/Lightning will hurt your own party, but they're still useless. |
[2011-05-20] Kal Zekdor: Amos, I had read the spell descriptions. What about them? It warns that Fireball/Lightning will hurt your own party, but they're still useless. |
[2011-05-16] A Google User: Fun game, but glitchy: Icon disappears from phone so must use market to open every time. Randomly deletes chars often. Must pay to save. Worth $4? |

[2011-02-05] A Google User: The developers need to do away with the permanent death of your characters. It makes it too hard to level up your guys and get any where in the game. |
