NES.emu (v. 1.5.1)

NES/Famicom emulator based on FCEUX 2.1.6-svn (GPL), designed and tested on the original Droid/Milestone, Xoom, Galaxy S2, and Xperia Play, but works on many devices with similar specs. It uses the most up-to-date revision of well-known PC emulator FCEUX (most other Market apps are built from older & less accurate versions of FCE Ultra).

Features include:
* Backup memory and save state support, auto-save and ten manual slots for save states. State files from FCEUX should work on NES.emu and vice-versa.
* Supports ROM-based games in .nes and .unf formats, optionally in zip files
* Famicom Disk System emulation using .fds files (select your BIOS in the options first)
* VS UniSystem support, push Start to insert coins
* Uses FCEU-compatible cheat files (.cht extension) with editing features
* Zapper/Gun support, touch screen to fire, touch & hold outside of display area to simulate firing away from the TV
* Configurable on-screen multi-touch controls in addition to keyboard controls (up to 4 touches supported at once), and an Xperia Play optimized button layout
* Multiplayer-capable Wiimote + Classic Controller, iControlPad, and Zeemote JS1 support (no need to purchase a separate app, see website for full instructions)

No ROMs are included with this app and must be supplied by the user. A number of public domain games/demos are available at www.pdroms.de. Transfer games anywhere to your SD card and browse to them from within the app (default SD card directory is /mnt/sdcard).

Works great on my nexus 7! I have the ps3 controller setup. I love the fact that you can turn off th e vitual controller. I have a Sony google tv. Amazing I was in the Nesoid crowd because I figured free is better. Took a chance on this app based in glowing reviews, and I am blown away by the quality. Runs so smooth, more options, and better presentation. You get what you pay for. My only complaint is that there are not more emulators to buy from this Dev, because I plan on using them all. An SNES emulator would be great, keep up the good work!

Nes Emu Galaxy s3 I have never had any trouble with this app. I will say that the touchscreen controls suck. This isn't a problem with the app. though. I find lots of games to be difficult to play with the S3 touchscreen. I easily paired my wiimote and it is flawless. Now I'm just waiting for my hdmi cable to arrive so I can play fullscreen!

Great emulator and frequent updates make this probably the best NES emulator available for Android. The developer also has an awesome SNES emulator that is available on his website. Totally worth it, the only thing I wish it had is SuperEagle - but the included 2x scanlines is great.

Ran fine on OG Droid Still runs fine on the HTC Thunderbolt but Wiimotes will not connect to it when it would to my OG. Bluetooth fails to open a port to connect. Will update when fixed. UPDATE: Apparently this app won't run on GB HTC devices because of HTC using old Bluetooth code. Hopefully ICS fixes this issue.

UPDATE: Fixes. Ran great on my evo3d. The latest update runs perfect on my Galaxy S3. Not so great on my galaxy s3. Still needs some work. Freezes while in rom and back is pressed. Also need a clock speed throttle, games are too fast and sound skips.
