Too fast Don't know if I'm doing something wrong but every game runs stupidly fast on HTC one s and couldn't get controls to work not that I had much of a chance seen as enemies shot onto the screen and killed me within seconds due to the speed. I wish it worked better because apart from the speed it looks good

The best emulator you can get! You won't find a better emulator out there! I have to say for free you can't have any complaints, I'd gladly pay a few quid for this highly polished app! It's brilliant, easy to use, built in games directory, simple to download roms, shame other emulators out there for different platforms aren't half as good and reliable! The developer has done a first class job and I take my hat off to them for a product I can't fault. If you can remember the spectrum, as I can, this will take you back, enjoy!

Manic Miner rules Really good app only thing is I can't figure out how to delete the games I have downloaded on the app, only ever play manic miner so don't need the rest there anymore :-)

Perfect, almost! Probably the best emulator available on Google Play! Easy to use and set up, whether adding your own roms or flicking through the World of Spectrum database. The superb keyboard allows me to play text adventures flawlessly on my Acer A700 Iconia Tab! To make it even better, the cheat database is superb and it plays all the standard Speccy Tape formats. The only thing missing is the ability to use a Wii Controller as a Kempston/Cursor joystick. Hopefully this'll be added at some point, but even so, i'll still give this 5 stars!

Good emu The keyboard is tricky to use as its so small. It still loads all my titles and they are quite playable. Setting up the on screen joystick is tricky to.

Dammit! It would be nice if the games came with instructions, especially those that force you to use the keyboard even though there's supposed to be a joystick option! Plus the one game I reall wanted to play was glitched and wouldn't let me turn left!

Brilliant I love it, although the controls need to be improved. I haven't been able to play any of the games I've tried so far. They work (mostly, some doesn't run at the proper speed), but I can't operate the joystick. I think it may be related to the display size of my phone (Galaxy Ace).

Amazing Simply a fantastic speccy emulator port. Works exceptionally well on the nexus 7. Amazing addition adding access to world of spectrum archive !!!. Would like to see some screen scaling options for portrait and landscape and better accuracy with the speccy keyboard. Maybe side by side with display and keyboard on landscape ? Have encountered a few games that do not work, but not a show stopper given the size of back catalogue.

Perfect As an emulator addict I would say this is the best one around by a mile. Works almost faultless (one or two failures to load games but always worked on second attempt), plus you can get any game ever made using the built in database. Well bloody done mate, really good job.

Amstrad emu next?? Everything that the update needed really: the main one being now that the keyboard bugs have been fixed - would love the option of seeing the Spectrum keyboard layout when in landscape mode; the keyboard swipe feature doesn't work brilliantly for me & is a bit tricky to work, but not a problem, as just have to hold down the phones menu button to have the Android keyboard be displayed. And finally, bluetooth input support would just about make it a perfectly up-to-date Android emulator! A good job indeed :)

Wow Superb Speccy emulator! Browsing the WorldOfSpectrumarchive & downloading games directly cuts out the lengthy download & transfer process I have seen with other similar programs. This is a real nostalgia trip and I can't believe how many game names are tripping of my tongue from 30 years ago. Also surprised myself by how many teleport codes from Starquake I remembered. Weirdly some developers like Elite and Ultimate Play The Game titles are conspicuous by their absence (copyright issue?) but can be found on other sites. Glad to see that in the latest update the keyboard mapping was fixed - it was pretty unusuable before this. Totally rocking Viking Raiders, Bruce Lee, Back To Skool, Harrier Attack, Cybernoid and Sentinel, Head Over Heels, to name but a few! Well done dev for this fine app.

New features make Marvin very flexible Thanks for adding the browser features. I can now view files in any folder on the device, which makes it a doddle to navigate the 3k or so games I've got on the physical SD card. No problems on ICS - just tap the folder at the top to browse up to other media in /mnt folder; sdcard, extSdCard, USB etc. Keyboard remap and POKE database are great - no need to try and remember back to 1984 for infinite lives or no collision. Very slick - good work!

Not good on Galaxy Tab 10.1 Graphically this emulator looks stunning but the keyboard keys maping on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is not working. Press for example keys "i", "o", "p" and it will show letter "p". Same problem is affecting the whole keyboard. Please fix it.

Great start. Keybord needs sorting. Great feature to be able to download from World of Spectrum. Keyboard, though excellent for nostalgia, makes for a super frustrating experience if you have to type anything. The joystick isn't much better either. Once this is sorted this will be an excellent app.

Nice emulator This is a cracking app, espeially for free. It works brilliantly on my Advent Vega. The best feature is that you can download the entire library of Spectrum games within the app (basically anything that is listed at the World Of Spectrum website). Only niggle is that when using my USB keyboard case, some keys are not mapped correctly and I am unable to get uppercase. But overall, well worth a download

So close to being great If the keyboard was aligned correctly on the Asus Transformer this app would be 5 stars without doubt. The emulation is perfect and the World of Spectrum website integration is a nice feature. Please sort the keyboard so I can complete my trip back to the 80s.

Not working on Transformer Prime Emulation and integration with WOS is great. Downfalls on Transformer Prime tablet - Landscape mode the graphical joystick and button are not visible - Portrait mode the keyboard does not work I've emailed the developer but have heard nothing sadly - hoping this will be fixed so Transformer Prime owners can get there Speccy fix...

Works well A few odd graphics glitches so far (Kwik Snax), but good speed. On screen keypad should have an option to hide/show as it's often only needed on the title screen of most games.

Looks promising, but controls unusable on my phone Having compared all the Speccy emulators in the Market this looks like the best one. As others have mentioned, the integration with World of Spectrum is excellent - all the games I could remember were there. Unfortunately the on-screen joystick is invisible and the keyboard response way off on my Galaxy SII which is a shame because this looks like a great emulator. I guess I'll just have to keep an eye out for an update that fixes my problems.
