Didn't really like it The battles are a bit boring. I've loved several Kairosoft games, like Dungeon Village, Game Dev Story, etc, but this one didn't do it for me.

Excellent This is the only mobile game i'v spent literally hours on. Upgrades to your colony, soldiers and special units, as well as strategy elements make kairobotica arguably the best kairosoft game to date...

Loved this one! Sim and combat combined! I really enjoyed this one. Loved Dungeon Village, but this one lets you have control over the robots fighting in addition to the town building. One suggestion: Would love to see the number of types of captured monsters/animals count towards your final successful score. I became minorly obsessed with capturing one of every animal/monster including the boss mobs and I was able to do so! My zoo was awesome and took up pretty much my entire space station, but sadly did not count towards my final score. But it was SPECTACULAR! *grin* Make number of unique mobs acquired for the zoo count towards score please! Also, this game has good replay value since you want the Sally Prin Bot and cannot really get that til close to year 15. Also, to do the special zones, those require pretty powerful specialty bots, so it is worth playing the game again to get the specialty bots to max level 30, including the Sally Prin Bot. Nice combo of fighting, town building and collecting *grin* Tip: Consider playing Beastie Bay first as this one is a sequel to that storyline, plus Beastie Bay is a crazy fun game! Highly Recommend both this one and Beastie Bay!

Sets the bar for indie rpgs. Theres a lot of complaints regarding how grind-ey the game is.. To be honest, I see that as a plus. The game feels like a 90's esque rpg, which is fantastic. Can be repetitive, but overall, a solid game.

Big disappointment I already bought game dev, so I expected better. Big waste of time after the game clears, building is formatted with little to contribute - and the bonus fights feel overly hard, as though they wanted to make game play longer - at the expense of fun. Sorry to say I won't buy another game.

It's Kairosoft... ...and they are the reason why I got an android and more games are released than iOS. Game is fun and addicting my only complaint is my phone will lag or freeze (especially in Fast mode & on other Kairosoft games). When my iPod was not blurry with a pure white screen and the color was in the negative Kairosoft games never had issues like on my droid. And I'll stop ranting.....lol

Alright This game is very grind-y and extremely simple. There's essentially no replay value. At 5.99$ I am disappointed. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of three is the near-complete lack of games similar to it available on the market. I will probably not be buying another kairosoft game.

Not up to Kairosoft standards Battle skills ask for which target to attack but you cannot change from the default target. Regular attacks have robots just attacking an enemy row based on position; we should be able to target a row to focus down. Stats system is pointless because there's no way to focus on leveling up one area: they all level up together. Shields don't decrease the number of robots destroyed by cosmic rays.

Meh. Usually LOVE Kairosoft games. This is the first one that bored me to tears by the end of the first run through. The battle sequences are a yawn fest...the town building is uninspiring...and the "post-victory" missions consist of monotonous monster battles that are an exact rehash of what was already in the game. If this was the first game I would have bought from this company I doubt there would have been a second. BUT....the rest of their lineup has been incredible, so I can let this one slide.

Starts out fun but... but combat runs way too slow (need a speedup button) and gets more and more tedious and boring as the game goes on, waiting again and again for the same little animations. allies give up too fast. shouldn't use fuel if they don't do anything (phone is the worst). Really wish the team would wait till after the devil had his turn to finish off the enemies. Feels buggy how severely the game slows down in landscape mode in combat... Just for drawing that extra transparent layer on the sides??

VERY repetetive I must say that this is one of the worst Kairosoft games. There is really very little to do. You go from planet to planet pretty much doing the same thing over and over again. Very poor research. Unable to customize your Kairobots. Epic Space Story is MUCH better this this.

Decent, but not great. Compared to other games on the Android market, this one isn't bad. Compared to other Kairosoft titles, however, this it's a letdown. Repetetive, frustrating battles (sometimes you'll watch your units take 6 turns of abuse before you can attack), a confusing and directionless city building aspect, and next to no customization leave this feeling rushed. My least favorite Kairosoft game (along with World Cruise Story). If this is the only Kairosoft title you don't have, give it a shot.

Pretty good I loved game dev story, but found this one tedious. The battles seem extremely slow, limited and repetitive, and there are a LOT of them. If you're going to feature rpg style grinding in future games, for the love of god please make it more interesting somehow.

Not the best from K-Soft. I love Kairosoft games but this one is rather boring due to the lack of things to do and variety. I know the main focus is the RPG turn based battles but they are not done very well and quickly becomes a chore. The main part of the game is rather easy but the difficulty spikes up ridiculously post game missions. As a time burner it's not so bad but anyone expecting a great RPG experience should look elsewhere.
