[2013-01-26] A Google User: Rockets speed Its a awesome game reminds when young. But if u get new weapons it suppose to be better amd faster Well ITS NOT!!! ALSO by getting the rockets and having enemies from all four corners not cool and you cant even use the sallitite while having rockets. 3 stars until fix. |

[2013-01-25] A Google User: An Ad before the main menu? I don't mind ad-driven apps, but during the loading of the game, the very first time, at 44% I received an Ad. Then in between levels 1 and 2. Other people say Ads during gameplay. Not sure I'm ok with a ruined experience like that. |

[2013-01-24] A Google User: Great update to the classic! Galaga Special Edition has all the elements of the original coin-op that you remember and love, without losing all those quarters. What's improved is that now you get a preview of the paths the aliens will take on their way into the screen, so you can plan your attack. You also get, early on, a tiny stationary turret that will fire in just one direction; deploying this is slightly difficult to execute. I frequently put it down firing in the wrong direction, but I imagine this is merely a matter of living with the gameplay for a while. The game looks fantastic, and plays really smoothly. If you have any nostalgia for the original, do yourself a favor and pick up Galaga Special Edition today! -- via Best Apps Market |

[2013-01-23] A Google User: How did my favorite arcade game make such a bad phone game? Plain and simple, this app is disappointing. The full screen ads that appear on startup and between levels are annoying, I accidentally clicked on one already and it ended my game. The game itself is not challenging or fun. It lacks the charm of the original. The auto fire basically takes a lot of the challenge away, as you can pretty much barely move and complete levels. The power ups are confusing and somewhat pointless. It is a shame, but this is NOT galaga arcade for your phone. |

[2013-01-22] A Google User: Just not that great I was a complete Galaga addict back in the day. This game is disappointing. It's not just the barrage of ads. The gameplay just doesn't cut it, I can clear entire levels just staying still and with the auto-fire going that means I'm doing NOTHING! The gameplay graphics look OK but the titles and menus look like blurry photo-copies. Not up to Namco's usual standard. Give me the old original Galaga any day. |
