Enclosure (v. 1.41) Разработано Boa|Neo |
NEW FEATURE:
Your wall designs and defense layouts can be uploaded and shared with friends if you survive the attack wave, so that they may try to improve your design. The results (highscore) is tracked by OpenFeint.
DESCRIPTION:
Enclosure is a twist on the classic Tower Defense game in which you not only place guns, but also build walls and doors to keep the attackers at bay.
Enemies come from all sides and have several potential exit points, all of which must be protected using a combination of force fields and heavy weaponry.
The force fields are shaped into passages, rooms and obstacles, to slow the attackers down long enough for the weapons to kill them.

COMMENTS:
If you have an issue with the game, then PLEASE send me an e-mail before showering me with 1-star ratings and angry comments - I really try to make it work on all devices, but there are so many, and they all have their own little quirks. I quite simply can't test on all of them.
If you're concerned with specific aspects of the actual game, then also please do drop me a note - I can't improve if I don't know what the problem is ;).
Oh, and finally, if you actually like the game: DON'T BE SHY! Please, good ratings are the only way to stand out form the large amount of spam on Android Market.
Also note that if you post comments here, I have no way to reply to you, so if you want a reply back, please send a regular e-mail (or do both).
STORY
Your world is suffering from an alien infestation. The aliens slip through naturally occurring worm holes on the surface of their home planet, to randomly appear behind your orbital defense system.
In order to protect its citizens, your government has begun a campaign to seal off the wormholes on the alien planet.
Unfortunately, the alien life-form is capable of destroying the enclosures so heavy weaponry is required to protect them. Further, recent reports suggest that the aliens are getting smarter and that their numbers are increasing, requiring more elaborate designs to ward off the aliens long enough for the weapons to kill them.
Your company has won a contract to build and maintain several wormhole enclosures on the alien planet. You must construct the enclosures and install defense systems during the daytime as the aliens come out at night.
Access to the construction site is provided by the ACT - advanced construction terminal, which due to the intergalactic distance is not able to provide live video but must resort to positional data from short range motion scanners installed in the enclosures.

[2012-09-05] Dr. Piranha: Not Buying Your Story Dev. You, the developer, say in a review here as a rebuttal to the very justified complaints that "Android doesn't have a free category so I had to do it this way". Well even if it's true, uh hello, is this your very first trip to the Market?! I won't believe for a single second that you have never seen a app listed on the Market, with the words "TRIAL" or "DEMO" next to the title of the game. While you may not be able to put it in a free category or otherwise, I know for a fact that you can edit and choose whatever you want to put in the title! But you purposefully mislead your customers, by 1) Not denoting in the title that this is a Trial, Demo, or Free-To-Play. And 2) This is the most telling part of your scheme, you went out of your way to make sure to not once mention anywhere in the game's description, that this is a Pay-To-Win game, and one rigged so badly, that the user can only play the tutorial, then BAM!, it pops up that you have to pay to get out of the tutorial. Freemium games are horrible and the whole freemium model is ruining mobile gaming and turning developers into unethical crooks. But this has to be the most shady and crooked example I've seen yet. I read your entire game description TWICE. I did that because the game looked and sounded amazing, and I just had to double check that it really was free and it didn't mention IAP. And it doesn't, not a single word. So that really says a lot about you as a dev. You purposefully mislead your customers, that simple |
|
[2012-08-13] Ethan: Misleading... I usually would buy a game like this, I like to support indie developers. Though if you are trying to get money by misleading people to think this is a free game, you have lost me as a customer. |
|
[2012-04-22] Samson: Looks amazing, but boring game |
|
[2012-04-22] Mike: Demo only Its a demo, not a free game |
|
[2012-01-27] xryptic: No Excuse... Just b/c theres no demo category doesnt excuse being misleading. U could state it 1st in description or the title. Or u could've done what most smart devs do & released full game free w/ads, then set an in-app purchase 2 remove them (do this & I'll rerate 4-5 stars!) |
|
[2011-11-17] Niels: Note on pay-model comments Unfortunately Google does not have a "demo" category - there's only "paid" and "free" - I as a developer, have no way of providing a free demo of my software but to offer it in the "free" category. I'm sorry if some people find that misleading - if there had been another way to provide a free demo of the paid version, I would have used it. As for the in-app payment option - this has been changed since the comments were posted so that you can complete the first contract in the game without buying. |

[2011-11-17] Niels: Game uploads is a fun way to play against friends Your wall designs and defense layouts can be uploaded and shared with friends if you survive the attack wave, so that they may try to improve your design. The results (highscore) is tracked by OpenFeint. |

[2011-10-23] ruben: Great game I really enjoy its different take on tower defense an its difficulty |
|
[2011-10-23] Noam: This is a demo only. This is NOT a free game. You will be asked to purchase on opening the tutorial. Very descriptive seeing as the description never mentions this |
|
[2011-10-20] Cameron: In game purchase of turrets Turrets also have poor prioritization of targets. Feels half baked |
|
[2011-10-18] Nolan: You have to pay for any weapons apart from the mini guns? It looked cool, but don't make the app free if there are going to be hidden costs in the game. Just put a price on the initial app. |
|
[2011-10-18] steph: Huge graphical mess Is only a graphical mess on my HTC Legend. Please fix. |
|
[2011-10-18] Stephen: Don't like the pay-as-you-play model It looks like a free game, but you have to start paying for weapons as soon as you start. How much will I be asked to pay to continue the game? Where does it end? Don't like the unknown costs - uninstalled. |
|
[2011-10-18] stonedonkey: Pay model is awful Don't care for being led right to a in game purchase during the tutorial. Good luck with the game looks great but this pay model isn't for me. |
