* How to play other version, like final doom TNT,DOOM2 ?
Copy the WAD file to the SD card directory /sdcard/doom . Music files get copied to /sdcard/doom/music.start the game, the game will show a list of map to let you choose.

1. Now playing other map become much easier than ever before, just copy the map file(wad format) to /sdcard/doom. then restart the game. HAVE FUN guys!!!!

Bester Doom Port für's Handy! / Great Doom Port! Ich habe auch schon den Symbian Port für's N8 gehabt, aber der war lange nicht so gut wie dieser! Bei der Android-Version funktioniert alles und man kann auch seine eigenen Vollversionen damit zocken. Die Steuerung ist natürlich Gewöhnungssache, aber für "Touchverhältnisse" sehr gut! Wer Doom fürs Handy haben möchte, kann hier ruhig zugreifen! (Gespielt mit Galaxy S2)

Impossible to set up. Seems to play. Doom2 installs and runs (WAD from my old Win95 CD), but the above instructions are wrong. Key mapping is terrible. To start playing a game, tap “Start” then “OK”, then press the tablet's “Menu” icon, arrow keys to place cursor at New Game, tap the tablet's “Back” arrow to select it. Choose difficulty, then tap Back again. “Up” arrow defaults to “Quit Game” (well of course it would!), so go to Options/Setup/Key Bindings, and try to find a combination that allows play. Good luck with that. Acer A500.

Controls! First the good: Game runs really smoothly, with music, and wads are easily selectable. The not-so-good? The controls really need work still - options for different methods (like the direction pad making you turn instead of strafe) would be welcome. Options for spreading out the 'turning' buttons a bit more would be good too. The weapon selection is patchy - this would probably be better with just one button for cycling through the weapons rather than bringing up all those numbers.... Promising stuff though

Seriously, have you played the iPhone port? Why has no one adapted a similar control style to Android devices? The iOS port has a mindbogglingly easy control scheme and it seems like no one can get it right on Android.
