Play Commander Keen 1, 4 and 7 for free on your android device! Episode 2, 3, 5 and 6 can also be played when you copy them to your data directory.

Includes shareware versions of Commander Keen episode 1, 4 and a mod called Keen 7.

You might have to reset your game data (deleting it) if you already have an older version.

Amazing! Revised: Controls work perfectly. If you're having problems go to Options - Controls and reset controller config. Commander Keen, ported to the android os... it's like a dream come true! I'm excited for this! Runs great on LG Optimus Q great framerate! Everything works very well. I like the extra options available for advanced users. Can you get Duke Nukem 123 to work with this? Or Hocus Pocus? HP was cool.

Awesome graphics but can't play I love the graphics on this - true to the original. :) However, I can't really play it on my Galaxy S Relay 4G. I start a level and it's constantly walking left. Maybe I need to remap the keys or something? OpenTyrian seems to be playable though.

Commander Genius Im so glad this came to android, I would totally buy it & any other old school ID software games for touch interface. Ive finally got the hang of it now and its so fantastically wonderfull. It really brings me back to the vintage/legacy IBM 386 & 486 CPU days. BIG THUMBS UP^^^^!!

Nexus 7 and s4, great, some glitches Great game, just a few glitches when saving, enemies move around, or appear out of nowhere to block exit from the level etc. Controls take a little getting used to, but once you've got it, is mostly fine. Thanks!!

Works great I always loved commander keen as a kid. The game works great minus I don't know how or if you can save your game. Once the app closes you have to start all over again.

Good game but They did a good job of staying true to the original PC version, but there are major bugs as it always freezes and there is no way to save your game.

Major Win Touchscreen controls are a far cry from my gravis gamepad, though easy enough to get used to. Game runs smooth & sounds are great. Only issue is going to my home screen from within the game, then going back into the game can sometimes cause it to hang on a black screen (occasionally this corrects itself). This isn't a big issue, as long as you save frequently. Overall, excellent job on this one, guys.

Almost perfect Wow. Hands down the best. However saving/loading within a level is glitchy ie. Items disapear, enemies respawn, and the worst, in keen 4, the green shooter things bullets are offset by about an inch... Very bad. But, still awesome emulator. Hands down four stars!

Looks nice, but buggy and difficult to control Neat to have this game on my phone. Brings me back to the early 90s. But the touch screen doesn't work well for this game, when a single missed touch means you have to start the whole level over. Also, the game ran unplayably slow at first (literally 1 frame per second), although this seems to have resolved itself spontaneously. Also, the game frequently stops responding or FCs, particularly when loading a game.

Outstanding Unlike the Tyrian counterpart, this game runs exceptionally well in graphics, sound and the controls are pretty accurate. There does seem to be a small problem with the game interface, if you accidentally touch the "back" button on your phone it can take you back to the initial menu and you have to start over which is very annoying. This is the game that several people have waited decades to replay and it is fantastic to be able to do so in our Androids at any location. Excelent job with this one PS: I tried Ep 2 & 3 and they work.

Almost there The game plays really well. Surprisingly well, in fact. My one complaint would be that whenever I lock my screen with the app running, unlocking the screen presents a black slate that eventually leads to many whole device needing to restart. Galaxy Player 4.0.

Just a couple flaws now The last major update made this into an extremely accurate and stable port of the original episodes of Commander Keen. The later episodes still need a lot of work to feel right, but so far this whole project is very promising. The only real complaint I have is that the walking sound in the original trilogy is way off; it needs to be a constant treading noise, not an intermittent beating sound. Still, great job so far. I'll be looking forward for more updates.

Awesome game, thanks! After the new update it works alot quicker and save in keen 4 is fixed. I don't see keen 7 anywhere though..... I must have misunderstood... Thanks for bringing this to Android. So much fun!! Good memories! One thing though is that my enemies seem to have glitches where they get stuck. Also if I save inside a level, the elevators move to the right and get stuck.
