Old school gameplay - bang up to date! I've absolutely loved playing this through - several times! There's just something about the simplicity of of the game mechanic in 1942 that shouldn't be messed with. These guys haven't; they've just added some great visuals and polished it to a brilliant shine! Nice one :)

One Of The Best Game can be completed in about 45 mins but this is one of the best arcade flying games available for Android today. Better than the old arcade games from Capcom and Konami. The best control method is "relative touch" under the settings menu. If you like arcade flyers, you can't go wrong with this game.

Amazing Graphics and gameplay that are nothing but the best. Even the easiest difficulty keeps you on your toes with enemies sometimes filling the screen with fire. But once you upgrade to max you're more like a mobile fortress yourself. Definitely worth the money. If I may suggest for the next installment- need more upgrades especially cannon, turret and homing missiles. And more plane types too. That aside this game couldn't be any better right now. Thanks for this :)

Old school arcade action with a shiny new look. Amazing the first time. Besides difficulty setting, doesn't really offer much to keep you coming back. Still entertaining for an occasional replay.

Made for Nexus 10 This game kicks butt, can easily spend hours and hours wiping out enemies. Its unusual for me but AA HD has great replay ability. Really shines in HD on my Nexus (either one 10 or 7, especially the 10 tho) was pleasantly surprised at the amount of detail. Definite 5!!

Remember Taito's Tokio? That was an awesome.... ...vertical scrolling airplane shooter. Unfortunately while the graphics on this are way way better its not nearly as much fun to play. Maybe this need a bigger screen than my nexus 7 for this to really work. Looks good but not a lot of replay value.
