In Weddar you have real people reporting on how the weather feels, not machines, bringing a personal touch to weather services.

Instead of the usual broad and generic “New York, 93º f, 73% humidity, NE light wind” information that traditional weather apps give you, in Weddar someone somewhere in Central Park will tell you that the weather “Feels Perfect”, while another one near the river will tell you that it “Feels Good but windy”. Because weather conditions really are different within the same city.

And you can also contribute location-based weather reports from where you are, just by clicking on one of the nine color clouds.

If there isn’t any information yet on the place you want, you can make “Weddar Requests” and the Weddar community will surely fill that information out for you.

This is a UK weather app which provide both image and voice forecast.

Most mobile phones support TTS function. If your smart phone is an old model, please make sure TTS is installed. This can be done by following the steps:


On your phone, open the Market app
Search for TTS
Select the app Text-To-Speech Extended to install

Widgets on Android work a bit differently than a normal application. Unlike regular programs they don't just install themselves in the application tray so you have to add them manually. They will not open or launch.
Here's how to add a widget on your Android home screen.

STEPS HOW TO ADD A WIDGET
==========================
1.On your Android home screen, tap any blank or “empty” area with size 4x2 and hold down your finger.
2.An “Add to Home screen” window will pop up. From that window, tap “Widgets”.
3.You’ll be presented with a list of all the installed Widgets on your Android device.
4.Select the "MIUI Evolution Reload Digital Clock” to add to your home screen by tapping it.

Notes
=====
"Time frozen/not updating"-> taskiller killed the clock(exclude it from taskillers)
When phone starts, clock starts in less than a min too.

ROM users-> make sure the clock is NOT moved on SD card.
Widgets are not supposed to be on SD card. Move it back to the phone storage.

Weather hint: For world destinations with two words in the name, type in the box the words with a plus sign.
For example "Buenos Aires" type "Buenos+Aires",remember the "+" sign -no spaces, don't include the quotes.

Finally an application that tells you if you need to remove ice from your carwindows.
Autotaalglas has build the Ruitenradar which tells you exactly if you need to remove ice from your windows the next day. Or if you can stay in bed 5 minutes longer.
