WTF Flash flood warnings every five minutes are a little annoying but it Would HAVE BEEN NICE TO KNOW ABOUT THE GODAMNED TORNADO when it happened. Warnings were on tv but I was outside, not watching. Its why I have this app on my phone.

Good weather app would like to be able to set update schedule, and once I acknowledge an alert I wish the app would stop giving me the same alert next time it updates. Can no longer find my location. Other weather apps have no problem.

Great app! Recommended by a coworker when I complained that other apps weren't accurate here in New England. I've really liked it. Only complaint is alerts keep using sounds even with it unchecked. Hearing my text sound at 2 am isn't good for restful sleep!

Great when it doesn't crash This app is great for New England weather, easy to use, data the way I want to see it. However, since the last update it crashes all the time - sometimes as soon as my phone restarts. Reinstalled twice, which helped. Fix that & don't have it load on boot & it'll be 5 stars.

Necn vs weather channel I used NECN and then I went and tried weather channel. I now come back to NECN for good! I highly recommend it even on the weather channels ratings. This app has all you need for weather and other don't waste your time or space with the other annoying app's. God Bless

After extensive diagnostic checks I found that this program wasn't allowing phone to go to sleep when idle. Reluctantly removed program and now back to 2-3 days between charges. Would be nice if it had a setting to allow updates only when opened to keep from updating all the time. HTC Amaze 2.3.5 EDIT: reading thru the permissions just now it seems there is a setting that keeps phone from turning off. going to do more research on this and may give it a go again.

Love it! I too live in New England and like to keep up with our ever changing weather. I also like to keep up with the weather in Florida where my parents live. I wish NECN news had an app. Every other news outlet has one! What's the delay?!
