Astronomy weather forecast. Forecast data is from 7Timer and includes:

This lightweight astronomy app detects your location and uses it to instantly give you a forecast that is highly localized and works worldwide.

7Timer!, pronounced as "Tri-Timer", means "bell of clear sky" in Chinese. It is a series of meteorological forecast products. Most of the products base on a numeric weather model from NOAA/NCEP, called GFS, and aim on short-term (up to 16 days) weather forecast service for special purpose, for example, astronomical activities, or meteorological condition assessment. 7Timer! was first introduced in mid 2005 and has been revised for better fitting of public service operation in mid 2008. It's first designed as a weather forecast tool for astronomical purpose, as the author himself is a long-term astronomer and is always annoyed by fluky weather conditions.

Good app Great for reference especially for the avid photographer/astronomer. Only problem I have now is that it won't load at all and says that there was an error and asks if my internet connection is open. I've un installed it and re installed but still no luck. I can't give more stars until this is fixed.

Excellent...but... Android DNA Great app! Very useful for astroimaging. It just stop working though since today after the latest update. Keeps trying to download data then errors out with Data network not available. I have tried it with both wifi & data. it worked great until today. Nothing has changed except perhaps for auto updated. Wonderful, using it almost daily This is just so useful! Using the highly regarded 7-Timer, it presents info-graphic cloud and astronomical observation data in a very effective manner. Today, it was lightly raining in the morning and our astronomy club had a school star party to run. Astro Panel told me it should clear up around 4:30 pm and by crikey it did! I like the moon percentage illuminations and the percent cloud cover. I would argue that you guys do a better job explaining the symbols than 7-TImer. Verdict: very useful for the serious astronomer.

Good app. Keep improving. The Cloud coverage always seems to be full white... No, wait, that's because the weather has been rubbish lately! :-) I bought a new telescope so it's my fault!! :-D The app though is really good. Improvements could be; numbers for seeing as an option instead of the graphic bars; the ISS data interpreted into the app style instead of just the Heavens Above feed; longer term forecast data if the data is available. Other than that, it's very good and useful.

Very good and accurate! This is a must-have App for astronomers and particularly astrophotographers. I have found the forecasts to be dead-on accurate everytime I've gone out for astrophotography and it provides all the information you want, even allowing you to have presets for location. If this were a Paid App, I would have happily paid for it.

Just what every star-gazer needs. It took a few minutes to get used to the interface, but so far looks pretty good. GPS in my area suffers from interference so top marks for the manual location setting... Could do with a bit more info re number of decimal places etc. but perhaps that's just me being an old fool. This will certainly improve the planning of my obseration sessions. A big THANK-YOU.

Okay. Wish it gave numerical values for seeing rather than the silly, and hard-to-read bars and disks. (Disks are appropriate for cloud cover, however.) Not so sure about the reliability of the underlying weather data with respect to calsky and meteoblue. 7timer has been less accurate in my experience--although, last night all three had me out under covered skies! Will use it until a better version comes along for European use.
