Aix Weather Widget (donate) (v. 0.1.9.2) Разработано Per Magnus Veierland |
Aix is a pure homescreen app widget that shows temperature, maximum/minimum precipitation and sun rise/set times graphically to give you a compact and accurate forecast.
Weather data is taken from Norwegian Meteorological Institute and NOAA National Weather Service. Data will be most accurate for Europe and the US.
Please check out the introduction by either opening the app from the market, or by using the menu key while on the Aix configuration screen. If you have any issues with the widget, please email me so I can help you.
This widget is designed to work in a portrait 4x1 format. It will work in 4x1 landscape, but this is not what the widget has been designed for. Improved tablet support will be added in the future.
NB: This application is in BETA, and is under development.

[2012-09-11] Daniel Falk: Useful If you want to be able to glance at your phone and see every weather detail of importance in a small amount of screen real estate - this is the app. In one tiny strip, you get temperature over time (24h), rainfall, daylight hours, pressure, humidity, and cloud coverage. Though that seems impossible, it actually works really well. It is not a glamorous or pretty widget - it is a useful one that you will glance at far more than a weather widget with raindrops on. Last point - even the free version is ad free so there's no reason not to go try it. |

[2012-08-30] countalmaviva: Clean weather widget I love how much information is packed into such a small space. Pairs nicely with my 4x4 calendar widget. One problem: the current temperature for my town, Mt Pleasant, MI, is consistently lower than what the NOAA website displays. I checked this with other US cities, and did not see the same problem. A request: a button for manually regrading the data. |
