Be prepared for the day with your own accurate and up-to-date weather information - right from your own backyard. The AcuRite My Backyard Weather app connects to your AcuRite weather sensors thru the Acu-Link Internet Bridge, allowing you to monitor household, yard or work conditions remotely. You can even set custom programmable alarms to alert you of changes, including temperature high/low, high wind speed, pressure drop and more. The bridge can work with multiple sensors to track many different measurements including temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, rainfall, and precision weather forecasts tailored to your specific location.

[2012-06-07] Wes: Getting there... Not exactly set up to support tablets well. Behavior is different in landscape versus portrait. Would love to have sensor strength meter available. Not bad, but has room for improvement. |

[2012-03-03] the 3/19/2012  Needs work. Generally relays correct data but often has an impossibly high or low reading as a record. Weather prediction is a complete failure - it consistently suggests I will experience a ~20C drop in temperature over the next 12 hours. Their weather devices seem to work very well on their own, but the Internet-enabled parts are still over much beta software - a fact the company has acknowledged on their forums. |

[2012-01-03] Paul: Bridge issues Love the unit, only problem is every 3-4 weeks, you may have to reset the bridge to view online. |

[2011-12-22] Darren: It works Will not go into landscape This app still feels young. Everything works other than it will not display the dashboard in landscape mode. I am using a Samsung galaxy 2x. I figured it out. You need to hold into the item you want to display and add to dashboard. |
