Works but has its flaws In general it is great with offline. Unfortunately handling and the search engine have their problems. Sometimes inaccurate showing your direction. But what is really bad, the search. Sometimes requires full name of a street to find it.

The best free offline navigator Scores over most rivals (paid and not) by up to date offline maps, letting you know when wrong turn taken and spoken street names - useful for bikers using earphones! Can import gpx files from My Tracks or poi's from PoiPlaza (for example) if you spend a bit of time learning how. Handy Google Maps integration. Only small snag is last second instructions at roundabouts. Great navigator tho, thanks!

Nice, but Needs some more work. In my SmrtQ X7 the panning is reversed both vertical and horizontal. The map files are small, much inormation is filtered. Would be nice if it accepts normal OSM tiles to add nyances.

Doesnt work with my gps Waiting after 5 min or so, it cant work with my gps. like many other free offline gps navigation out there, this one doesnt work very good either. It seems futile to find one that is free and adequate. Oh, this is my 6 or 7 'top' free offline gps navi app I tried. All with the same good maps, but the apps themselves are junks.

Great app Zanavi is a great app. I have tested it in Tuscany and it found really the best routes through mountain routes. It never have directed us astray or into abyss :) . One difficult thing is offline address search which works not reliably enough and too slow - usually you can either get 0 results (with partial match off) or way too many results (with partial match on). Possibly maps should be indexed in some way after downloading to allow autocompletion and prioritize partial match hits based on name similarity. Btw - a hint: the right format for offline search is "City [space] Street" which might be not obvious as results are formatted as "Country, City, Street"

Good nav app for android Hi I am from india now in usa for official trip and found this app very useful.may be the ui can be little be improved but considered its free that's not a problem. Only thing is when I am offline I am not able to search for an address. To overcome this issue I will set the destination or where ever i want togo when I am online via wifi using the online address search functionality and will acess those destination when ever I need via recent destinations option. It works fine for me

best free cycle route planning app this is the best free cycle route planning app because: 1. it's offline 2. its free 3. it does voice turn by turn 4. it does waypoints 5. supports pre-planning of routes by judicious use of the saved 'recent destinations' which can be quickly loaded on day of ride. its far from perfect, and maps detail could be a lot better, but given it ticks the boxes above, and no other app does, it gets five stars from me, we should all do a donation to this and it might get even better

Great & free Works fantastic on my Xperia X10i. After hours of searching and trying, this one did what I want. Search offline address, set as start, search destination, set "to here" and listen to the voice saying turn right! All with gprs and wifi off.

Nice, but needs some tweeking in display. Works ok Works weel. 4 suggestions: 1: In 3d the route is shown by highlighting the borders of the road in green (same as woods). However: highways are wider, and thus not shown well and with a lot of woods you don't see the route. Please take a different colour (dark blue) or even better recolour the road itself, so don't use additonal borders. 2: Another suggestion: show road-signs (destination at the turns). Suggestion 3: add the possibility to save and select favorites, 4: enlarge the text of the command

Good job, needs improvement In new version "old menu" is mentioned as "unsupported" but some of the native features of Navit are available only by old menu (press on map). Please include in new menu at least 3D view and bookmark access. I don't like to search my home on map or in search engine every time!
