Volcano Report shows most recent volcanic activity worldwide. Explore volcanoes which have been active in the last week in an interactive map. For every single volcano you get detailed information about the ongoing activity and their eruptions.
The app is available as open source on github: https://github.com/nblumoe/volcanoreport

[2013-03-03] A Google User: Great concept, sadly lacking current development Really like the concept, and the linked information is interesting. Also the only app I've found to track volcanic activity, in sharp contrast with earthquake apps which seem to be everywhere. Very unfortunate therefore that it doesn't seem to have seen any development for a very long time, and presumably as a result of that is rather unstable as mentioned in the last few reviews. Would be great to see the developer get back into the app, has great potential but for the moment is somewhat flawed. |

[2012-09-04] A Google User: DROID x fail Rotated screen and it stuck on downloading update data. No data downloading?.. Couldn't back out or exit in any way. Had to reset phone. And volcano icon not visually responsive. Icon too large, makes it look comical. No date or magnitude indication. Needs lotsa work. |
