Fantastic Amazingly good, and the email support for any question (response within minutes if you contact them before 11pm) is simply peerless. If it hangs after downloading, restart your phone. Easy, dammit! Also, the app works /shares across up to four devices, which is very useful.

A most excellent application Viewranger has been my most essential application for years, doing everything I'd every want it to and more, including porting my data between platforms and phones. Their data agreements just work and are perfectly priced as one can just use the tiles required, regardless of which country they're in. On the very rare occasions their expertise is needed, the support guys at Augmentra always go the extra mile to help.

The best app I own If I had to have only one app, this would be it. Absolutely brilliant for walking and cycling and just browsing maps when there's nothing else to do. It seems to be reasonable on battery too. A fresh charge gets me about ten hours of use on my Galaxy 5.0 wifi. The value for money is superb with all the national parks included at 1:50000 and extra mapping at this scale being very reasonably priced, (the 1:25000 are a bit dear, but that's the OS copyright I think, not Viewranger.)

Great with OS maps purchased I wanted this for rambling in the UK Cotswolds so bought the additional OS mapping which works great. Not sure how people can vote down because online mapping is slow to download as that will be your connection speed not the fault of the software. Overall a great GPS product that lets me plan save and share routes.

Superb. Use this on Symbian and Android, really useful for hikers, cyclists, etc, the Ordnance survey maps are quite expensive but they work great and are much more convenient than paper maps. Well worth installing this.

Great I've been using this app for 2 years and I keep migrating it from phone to phone. Customer support is responsive and freely enables you to use the application whenever you upgrade to another device. It is great for recording your tracks and even to help guide you in off-road areas for which you have no map. You can even draw a desired route in Google Earth and import it in ViewRanger for your trekking adventures.
