GeoInfoManger(GIM) is a geographic information management tool for Android phones with GPS. GIM will store location information with photos, address and notes. The program allows users to navigate to stored locations and share location information and photos with friends, family or work associates. A GPS tape-measure tool is also provided to measure distance and area. Coordinate conversions are provided for over 60 countries.

Navigate to stored locations using the link to Google Navigate. Google Navigate provides turn by turn voice navigation with a map display. Revisit stored locations with Google Street View which allows you to explore street-level views in 360 degrees. Navigation Dashboard gives you bearing, heading, current speed, velocity made good (VMG) and estimated time of arrival.

Share information with friends, family or co-workers using Email or SMS. The photo, address and note is added to the email with a google map link so your contact can easily find the location.

The GPS Tape-measure feature allows a user to measure the distance or calculate an area with the GPS. Distances are annotated to lines drawn on the map or satellite views. Distances and areas are reported in meter or feet units. Area is shown in Sq Ft and Acres or Sq M and Hectares.

GPX (GPS exchange) format is used to save and exchange GPS information. The GPX format is supported by most GPS manufactures. GPX files are available from many sources and can be imported to GIM.

GIM provides a coordinate conversion utility and provides grid coordinates throughout the program. Over 60 countries are now supported with additional countries being added in future versions. The Coordinate Conversion Dashboard has easy user interface for coordinate system selection and shows both grid and geographic coordinates. The program will suggest a projection system when a region is selected.

The Audi Roadside App offers a range of leading-edge features that connect directly with Audi and its roadside assistance partner, Allstate Roadside Services. The App leverages the Audi customer’s pre-registered vehicle information, a smartphone’s GPS capabilities and an intuitive interface to ease calls for roadside assistance.

The App works by accessing an Audi vehicle’s basic information, which is stored as part of the broader roadside assistance service.

Audi of America’s Roadside Assistance program combines a team of qualified dedicated customer service professionals with a comprehensive nationwide towing network to bring Audi customers world-class assistance when they need it most. Audi includes free 24-7 roadside assistance on all new Audi models sold in the United States and Puerto Rico for four years of upon delivery or warranty activation.* Owners of older models can use the Audi Consumer Roadside App, but Allstate roadside service fees would apply.

The Audi Roadside “App” offers the following features:

• Vehicle registration - Drivers simply provide their Audi's vehicle identification number (VIN) and some basic personal information to register the App with their customer information on file. This provides Audi Roadside Services your specific details when you request service, and greatly shortens the time it takes to dispatch service.

• Audi Roadside Assistance - With a few simple steps, the driver selects the type of service they require (e.g. jump start, fuel delivery, tire change or tow) and the App locates the driver via the smart phone's GPS capabilities. The assistance request is sent to the Audi Roadside Assistance dispatcher as the call is connected to enable the dispatcher to provide faster service. Once the dispatch is complete, the App captures and conveniently stores the dispatch details, including the name of the roadside provider en route to the customer and estimated time of arrival.

• Dealer Locator - For convenient access to dealer information, the Application allows users to search for dealers nearby or within a given city. The App displays the dealer's name, location, hours of operation and phone number. With one touch, the user can display nearby dealers on a map or immediately call the dealer.  This is particularly helpful when a service appointment is required immediately.
