TrafficDroid England is an incredibly simple, lightning fast way to retrieve traffic information direct from the Highway Agency about road/lane closures, accidents, congestion and all other incidents listed by them.
Region selecting, route selecting as well as many other filters allow you to quickly find any problems on your route and adjust if necessary.
New in version 3.0 is integration with Google Maps, allowing the viewing of incidents in a map, meaning you can pinpoint the incident and quickly view alternative routes to avoid trouble.
This is a must-have app for anyone who travels, a massive time-saver. Perfect for summer holidays.

[2012-06-18] tsr: I don't understand It asks for gps permission but all you get is a list of traffic reports by region which you have to select manually. You can only get individual incidents as a map. No overview. |

[2012-03-08] Simon: Appsolutely fabulous Wowzers. I'm a bit lost for words, I've never come across such an innovative and well carried out app before. You can strap yourself in for a hell of a ride with this no holds barred, ferocious, five star fun app without needing to worry about having to stop because of traffic! As the moronic moron before me mentioned, there's no travel news for Scotland but that's probably because they're too busy deep fat frying their phones, I don't think we can blame the developer for their greasiness. Anyone who criticises this application loves and supports Kony. Shame on you. To conclude, TrafficDroid is hospitable, forgiving and emasculating. A thoroughly gourmet app. |
