The mobile streetmaps are for you! All the map data is loaded on your phone before you leave your home, so can you be on the streets, offline, and still know everything about the area you are in, and locate yourself or any street in the city. You don't need any network connection at all once the application is installed on your phone – no WiFi, no 3G, no GPRS!

This is a complete street level map for your phone. The entire map is stored on your phone, so it works where you have no access to the Internet - it works where Google Maps is inaccessible. This prevents expensive data roaming charges by loading all the map data to your phone before you leave home. You can turn off all network functions and still be able to find your way around. Lets you find all streets, and many useful locations such as ATM's, parkings, museums, and many others.

Summary:

The application is part of Muscat Municipality strategies and initiatives to provide citizens and residents convenient way to get access to Muscat Municipality services. The main objectives of the mobile application as follows:

- Provide citizens with convenient way to access Muscat Municipality services.
- Enhance the communication with citizens and engage them into a two-way Communication.
- For Muscat Municipality to get access to information and statistics that will allow for better planning.

Services:

The application contains the following sections:

1- Parking: Provide an intuitive graphical interface and ease of use for the current SMS based mobile parking system.

2- "Where I parked": Feature that will help user can retrieve their car location on a map after sending the parking request.

3- Feedback: Enable residents of Muscat to send feedback and notes accompanied with a photo capture, their comments & the location/address of the note/issue.
Users can either choose to automatically send the current address or write the address manually.

The Municipality will have the ability to receive, analyze, attend and answer back these logged complains.

4- Services: The application will allow Muscat residents to enter their Service Request (SR) number in order to retrieve the Service Request status.

5- Profile: User login and contact information.

Go Auckland displays Auckland Trains, Buses and Ferries timetables data on your Android Phone.

All timetable data is stored on your phone, so it does not require any network access.

Features:
