Just in time for the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, TopBarcelona is your mobile guide to finding great places to visit while in the city. It’s been designed for people who don’t want to visit the typical tourist sites, so you won’t find anything about Gaudi here. We recommend the most interesting shops, bars, restaurants, neighbourhood hot spots and places where you can get a great view of Barcelona. TopBarcelona is for users who want to discover and experience the "everyday" Barcelona.
You can choose to find information from the offline guide that gives you a brief summary of each place, along with the possibility to call there if there’s an associated number, as well as to access more options via the "More info" function that uses an Internet connection.
You can also use the Augmented Reality mode to find out which selected places are close to you by simply holding your mobile up to see your surroundings. You’ll see interactive AiR Points that correspond with each place and their location. Touch one and get more information about that place, and interact with additional functions like Route, Web, Multimedia and more. You can configure the application to decide how far to search for places around you according to their distance from where you are.
