Accelerometer data is combined with GPS data to identify possible potholes.
This APP can be very battery intensive, plugging the phone into a car charger is advised. The user interface is not designed to be used while operating a car!

[2012-03-28] A Google User: Getting there I like where this is going, but I have trouble viewing the bumps on the map. I would like it to be more sensitive and be able to see more bumpy spots. Why not plot dots down the road with bigger bumps with bigger dots. |

[2011-06-26] A Google User: Still buggy (hence the alpha release) On my Samsung Epic 4g (Galaxy S SPH-D700), the program no longer uploads files. It'll say "Transmitting track", but it never actually posts the track to the CitizApps website. The developers have not responded to an email I sent them a week ago. |
