Client to collect locations of GSM cellphone -cells and upload them to opencellid.org.
Also features a nice Map of the cells collected using either Google Maps or OpenStreetMap.
YOU NEED TO HAVE A GPS FIX AND MOVE AFTER STARTING THE RECORDING FOR ANYTHING TO BE VISIBLE AT ALL.

[2011-07-19] A Google User: No cell towers detected. This is a great idea, we really need to crowdsource a real map of our cellular coverage, but this app does not do anything. I'll keep checking in on this, but it is not working at this point. |
