Packed together with comprehensive map data is a point-of-interest index, which lets you quickly find hotels, restaurants, museums, shops and more. It is possible to mark points of interest as favourites, so that will they be highlighted on the map for easy reference. An alphabetic street index enables you to find streets within the coverage area quickly by parts of their name.
Minimal permissions: only location access required to allow the map to display your location and access to the SD card to cache image data. All map data for Cape Town is packaged with this app: once installed no access to the internet or the phone network is required, so you can be confident that roaming charges are avoided and that this app does not act as spyware. This application does not record your position apart from positioning the map, when requested, at your location. This map does not support navigation.
Version 2 of this software uses an improved internal data format for faster display.
