Over 50,000 Historic locations!!! NextExitHistory™ is a heritage tourism application providing users the opportunity to learn more about the history and culture of America by delivering information directly to their Android device. Scholarly, certified information is provided via text, images, audio, and video formats and is based on users’ proximity to heritage tourism sites as well as their interests. The current database of information is primarily populated with Historical Markers. We are working to expand the database to include more museums, parks, interpretive sites, and much much more. You should not use the Program while operating a moving vehicle or any equipment as your attention may be distracted and this may result in severe injury or death. You are solely responsible for such activity should you undertake it and we are not liable for any damages related thereto.

[2012-05-18] Cynthia: Great for finding history to visit as a family Just in our area this app reminded me of historic places I had forgotten were here. I know they are still developing this app and I am looking forward to future enhancements. I think it will be great to use this while traveling with the family this summer. The kids can check ahead on what they might like to see & learn more about . |

[2012-03-22] Kelly: Historical Markers- This app is pretty good for finding historical markers. When I remove those from the lengthy list of item types to serach for only 2 places came up for the entire state of North Carolina. They need to correct the description because its only good for finding historical markers!! |

[2012-01-29] OzTech: Awful Force closes and lists some places that don't even exist. Only has 2 listings in my entire major metro area and one of them is 650 miles away. Great concept but needs a lot of work. |
