Since all maps are stored on your device (on-board), the application can navigate accurately without internet Wi-Fi, 3G, or 4G connections. [2013-10-11] A Google User: Good Maps from Spain and France don't match the voice you hear...on the map shows you the way correctly but the voice tells you to turn to the right or to the left sometimes It's confusing, speccially if you are already tired from a long trip. |

[2012-08-23] A Google User: Sorry. Doesn't cut it. Now i also know about navi horror stories that i never knew with google maps. Crashes when crossing the border. Fails to respect that i want it quiet. Settings: speaker off. Start app, speaker on. Turn speaker off, use the volume key to turn up the music, turns volume back on. I have to change apps to increase the volume. When starting without network connection, it fails because of some licensing crap. Various other bugs regarding speed alerts. Final note: ndrive €30, Swiss SIM card + google maps, 10CHF. |

[2012-07-10] A Google User: Great Value Just returned from holiday where we used NDrive every for two weeks with very few problems. Unlike other reviewers we found Ndrive did not require an internet connection, found the GPS signal ok, gave good routes, even across international borders, and my pre-purchase questions were answered promptly. Don' t think NDrive's marketing is as good as its engineering. Much cheaper than competitors. |
