MetroCalc helps you use up leftover money on NYC MTA MetroCards.
You tell it how much value your card has, and it will tell you how much to add to take advantage of the 7% bonus and end up with an even number of subway fares, with no leftover change.

[2011-03-30] Marie: App needs this changed pronto COULD be a very useful app but needs one KEY factor changed. The MetroCard bonus amount is now 7%. But the app allows the user to enter dollar amounts only in increments of five cents. Consequently, not possible to calculate accurately (my own card currently has a balance of $xx.22). Emailed the developer asking to allow amount entry in increments of one cent; five stars then! |
